The BBC food guide, on the net have a cracking recipe. If you can make the batter and leave it to stand for a hour or so before you pour it in it works a treat.

Precook the sausages for around 15 min, pour it in and don't open the door until 25-30 minutes later when it's done (if you do you'll lose the heat from the oven and it'll collapse).

No need to precook the sausages if there're cut into quarters (bite-size)......works well.

If I can add onto this post tonight's attempt!

The sausages 3 kinds all from Bury MarketΒ 

Pork & Bury Black PuddingΒ 

Pork & cranberryΒ 

Pork & appleΒ 

The gravey

caramelised red onion cooked in the sausage fat then braised in local ale being a stockport lad it had to be a Robinson trooper & then a beef oxo cube & a dash of dijon with ahh bisto gravey browning to thicken itΒ 

The cauliflowerΒ 

Supermarket florets tossed in olive oil & garlic granules didn't have any parmesan to make them fancyΒ

Asda 80p ding job can't beat itΒ
