Conor - do you have any information about what age group the BASC talks are aimed at? My daughter in law owns several children's nurseries. They have had, from memory, talks from the Police and Fire Brigade amongst many others.

Not sure whether the children would be too young or even whether my daughter in law would be interested, which is why I ask the question.

I think its all ages - its about connecting the school (s) to BASC and then an ongoing thing. Best would be connect her with our regional team and they can take it from there. Might also be worth asking her if getting game meat on the menu for the children was of interest. You could point to this project:

"Putting game meat on the menu"? What planet are you on? The vast majority of schools are struggling to find enough expertise to put beans on top of the toast or to even know what a bean is if not written on the reheating instructions. Cannot help but wonder if such talks took place would attendance be compulsory ie everybody must attend, or voluntary (like the lead ban) ie everybody must attend. As for connecting to schools - I believe that BASC are failing to connect with the majority of shooters - maybe that would be a better starting point?

Conor - just spoken to daughter in law. Thinks it wouldn't go down well with some parents and the kids are a bit young., but she has many contacts in Bolton schools, so I will ask her to spread the word.

No worries. And hopefully some of those contacts may come to fruition. Maybe her nurseries could try a forest school type experience or a walk on one of your permissions? I used to do public walks in our local woods every Sunday and it was a great opportunity to introduce a myriad of people old and young (many toddlers in tow!) to woodland management and the interactions between predators and prey etc. I also got HLF funding for free forest schools for all local nurseries and primaries which was delivered by Cheshire Wildlife Trust. I  think here is a lot we can do locally on this front - just getting kids into nature.

Nothing wrong with putting game on the menu. There are initiatives to get game on the menu in nurseries and hospitals. Maybe you could help out in your local area getting kids into nature?

Answering the question ?? Not so much. .You must have been of the day that was covered.Bombard PW with BASC  information in reaction to negative feedback ? Yes I think that seems likely.

Please stop posting personal comments about me. It is unwarranted and unwelcome.

Conor - you are too sensitive. I have read the patronising and arrogant stick you dish out. You need to get used to incoming.

Any worthwhile messages you put out gets lost in your evasion and sniping. If you don't like it - just ignore it.

Been there, done that. Tell me - how many hospitals/nurseries are regularly including game since your initiative - not engaging in conversation, but actually including?

There was no question from Konor just more of the same abuse carried over from thread to thread. Unwarranted and unwelcome. It is cyber bullying plain and simple. Please don't enable him/her.

I have been posting on this forum longer than most. Please don't ask me to ignore unwarranted and unwelcome personal abuse.

It would be superficial to think that the comment was made merely to insult or allow you to play the victim of unwarranted abuse. The comment was made in order that you could read through Old farrier’s post below and reflect on how it contrasts with the majority of your posts on the forum. You ignore ,belittle and quite frankly falsely accuse other members on the forum. The comment was made in the hope that you would confront those issues and move forward as possibly a better representative of BASC , unless of course BASC condones your behaviour on the forum and you do reflect the attributes that BASC values. One thing is sure if I felt no need to occasionally  make personal comments , perhaps through frustration in your continual avoidance of addressing my questions or points, I would not have done so , perhaps you should reflect on why that occurred and maybe  take steps to emulate the character from BASC referred to in Old farrier’s post below. Or is the post below just PR hot air and your hysterical accusations of bullying a reflection of an element of lack of character to deal with the situation on your part ?

if you keep crying all your past insults and personal remarks are going to reappear quick time!

In all honesty I couldn’t be bothered to look back ,but it would highlight the hypocrisy of Conor’s latest posts. Thin skinned or an attempt to censor free speech ? If you can’t take it then don’t dish it out springs to mind. In contrast to your posts Conor I very rarely cease to address a point made or a question asked in response to my posts, just like the BASC poster guy, whereas you have a reputation for failing to do both.

I have not given you any reason in this thread to post personal comments about me. Fourth time of asking. Please stop posting personal comments about me. It is unwarranted and unwelcome.
