JKD
Lucky you were in and not down at the co-op getting your meal deals 👍 Through my work, I see garden fires regularly,,,, one was caused by a guy [neighbour] dragging a heavy metal scrap item on a concrete path 🤦♂️ The sparks set light to the debris from two conifers,,,,,, WHOOOOSHHH !!!! £20,000 worth of damage to the garden and house I worked on/repaired/reconstructed 🤦♂️😠 Seen the odd barbecue fire too,,,, luckily they are usually away from the houses 😏
marsh man
We have a laugh and joke between us on the forum but that was no laughing matter , you could have both gone out and came home to your house on fire for no fault of your own. It's a good job you kept your calm , if not we would have heard the foul language down here in the outbacks . Hope they have the decency to offer to put it right . Dougy
Just now, marsh man said: Hope they have the decency to offer to put it right . MM Doesn't sound like there the type to offer anything, take more like. An 100 % agree re fires in tos heat, hose pipes have there limits. adzyvilla
Funny, you have just described my neighbours. Seems to be a lot of it about in Norfolk these days. At least they haven't set fire to the grass yet, not that there's much grass on their side of the hedge.
smokingdragon
My neighbours could have a bonfire on their lawn and all it would do is produce lots of steam, as all our ground is saturated with standing water 🙄
