Sausages and,,,, stuff.

Inspired partly by marsh man,,,, yes, you read that right πŸ˜„

I realised that I don't eat enough vegetables, so tonight I rustled up a leek, carrot and green beans concoction, with red wine, herbs, garlic, thickened up with onion gravy powder.

Sausages were pork and red onion, all accompanied by a smidge of Colemans English mustard πŸ˜‹ Quite nice it was too πŸ˜€

Wow , fancy of all the people on the forum I was the one who gave you inspiration to indulge in a sausage meal:lol: , if I am truthful which I normally am them they look well over cooked for my liking , maybe to be fair that a lot of my stuff in slightly undercooked ( except my first meal on the slow cooker ):lol:Β I have got some organic pork sausages in the fridge and I might have a couple for tomorrows dinner as I don't fancy them again for my tea .

Overall I wouldn't score it very highly but as you mentioned me then the score have easily gone up to 9 1/2 out of 10Β :drinks:

I'll take that score, cheers, but I'd only give it 7.5/10 for flavour,,,, didn't quite get the herbs/seasoning right πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈπŸ€­

No, sausages weren't tough, my normal knives tend to tear them apart rather than cutting them. Yes, they were a little bit overdone, but only just πŸ˜†πŸ˜‚

Only kidding, I also like my sausages well done (a bit barbecued) I also cut them down the length and open them up so the inside gets nice and crispy.

I know πŸ˜€ Most of us take the mickey in this section, as you know. If there was a perfect meal put up, I would find fault with it somewhere as a matter of course 😁 and I'd expect the same back πŸ˜†

The sausages well done like that are how I like them as well.Β  The veg and potato mixture looks nice.Β  I have done things like that - but usually with leftover veggies.Β  A touch of curry powder can be nice in veg like that - doesn't make it a curry, but raises the flavours.

Thanks for that πŸ‘ I'm usually quite good at flavourings/seasonings etc, but got this one wrong πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ Must do better next time πŸ˜†

Your household is a bit like me old'un , you obviously don't get many people round yours over the Christmas period , still the leftovers can go into your lunch box when you are shooting a few Pigeons .Β :drinks: Β
