Your question is very important to us, please hold that enquiry until one of our representatives bothers to answer you, you are currently number 74 in the queue..... enfieldspares Posted Tuesday at 22:03 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 22:03 Many of these call centres are often in India or, sometimes, South Africa. Less so the Philippines.
welsh1 Posted Tuesday at 23:02 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 23:02 In Wales if you call any public service you have to listen to a Welsh explanation and then an English one, and to start you usually have to press 1 or 2 to continue in English. Everyone can speak English.

I have found an excellent way to get to see a Doctor, immediate appointment, no queues, face to face, no problem ! BOOK A CRUISE ! 😂
JohnfromUK Posted yesterday at 13:13 Report Share Posted yesterday at 13:13 In the course of swapping (mobile and landline) phone suppliers but retaining my numbers last year, some 'error' occurred and my mobile calls came to my new SIM, but texts didn't - going to a 'temporary number'. This necessitated calling the new supplier (actually fairly efficient). Their message ALWAYS starts with the phrase - "we are very busy at the moment, please either visit www.phonesupplier.com or try calling later". In fact - if you held on - you were answered quite quickly and the issue was resolved quite quickly. At the close they always ask - "is there anything else we can help you with?". I then asked why (whatever time of day or night) you called they were always "very busy at the moment". Answer was that it was a standard message and played 24 hours a day. I manage to see my Doctor face to face and I showed him the rash on my testicleless , he totally ignored me and carried on putting his shopping through the self service till in Tesco's .
