Price Increase

Hello, I just had a heads up Email from Pellpax on Cartridges , They have a list on the Web site with free delivery in Febuary , Thought this maybe of interest to PW member

No matter if clay shells were £250 a slab there would always be the rich and wealthy turning up at shooting grounds in their Range Rovers or BMW’s paying whatever the ground charged to shoot. To some a few hours costing £100+ is chicken feed,to others it’s half a week income!

Cartridge prices going up wont affect me at all, instead of going once a week I’ll go once a month 👍once you are retired plenty of other hobbies to enjoy 😉

Yeah, I actually agree with that to a certain point.

it is a hobby to some people who only want an outing with friends in a Sunday for example, 50-100 clays, bacon roll (or bap, cob, barn cake) and a nice cuppa.

But for me, it is a way of life, I love shooting and wouldn’t ever give it up willingly yet.

so did this hike happen then or no?. 

everywhere in the northeast has stayed about level

(edit) they did indeed go up about 4-8%  concerning another hike of that ammount and were gona pass the threshold for the 100% price hike since ukraine kicked off IF that is the  reason

I have an uncle who lives in the US, and by all accounts they're struggling over there to get all powders for reloading.

Of course its a hobby, its something paid for out of disposable income and is not a neccecity to life. 

It's getting unjustifiably expensive to many including me. 

I refuse to pay daft prices for game shooting and have grave doubts on the morality and ethics of rearing things to be shot. 

I like my fowling but even that's costing more to a point where once my stock of ITM is gone will pack up. 

I started stalking a couple of years ago but prices here are going up so my FAC is going along with the rifles etc. 

Am getting to the point where I can find better things to spend my hard earned cash on.
