I think the matter of being able to vent frustrations is important. I don't think this is the place to do it though. As for people commenting on which countries people reside in, well this thread has to do with PW the website. There's not a Guardianista on the planet who will ever change my views on immigration. Appeasement won't do any good. We have problems, and twittering on about peace, love and racial harmony won't make them go away.

Once I've got it off my chest there's not much point in recycling it over and over. I end up feeling just as pi$$ed off as the hug-an-asylum-seeker brigade

A couple of weeks ago, I spent a few hours on a University Campus whilst waiting to meet my son. I quite enjoy "people watching" and here are my observations.

 

White kids. Boys were pretty scruffy on the whole. Girls not as scruffy. No problems.

Yellow kids. Boys and Girls were tidy, quiet and polite. All speaking their native tongue.

Black kids. Dodgy (in my eyes) dress sense. Girls had big *****. No problems. I struck up a conversation with one of the young lads and found him to be polite, articulate and friendly. We spoke for around 45 minutes and then shook hands and went our separate ways.

Asian kids. Girls OK (very few had their heads covered). Boys, several of them have a serious attitude problem. For example purposely walking at a 50 year old white guy (me) and expecting me to walk around them. They all changed their minds when I didn't. They also seem to dress in an (unsuccessful) attempt to look "hard".

Overall opinion. God help us in a few years when we are pensioners and this lot are running the country.

 

What it's like where I live in Norfolk.

 

We have a lot of Portuguese (known by the locals as "Pork and Cheese") and Eastern Europeans, mainly Poles and Latvians (known by the locals as Boyski-Boyskis).

The Portuguese mainly keep themselves to themselves. There is the odd bit of trouble when they beat England at football, or when one of them bangs a bun in a Norfolk Girls oven. They mainly speak English when in public.

The Eastern Europeans are a lot louder. The men go around in groups and can be regularly seen well ******, drinking their cans of beer when walking around the car boot sale before 0730 on a Sunday morning. They only speak English when they have to. The Court Appearances page in the local paper is full of them. The home bred rogues just cannot keep up with them. They specialise in shoplifting and driving offences. If you are going to get done for drink-driving, why worry about insurance, tax and an MOT?

The local Dids/******/Gypsies/Travellers are a law unto themselves. The Police are scared of them and know that they will never turn up at Court anyway. They burn cars out and leave a trail of **** and devatation behind them for the council to clean up and the taxpayers to pay for.

My best friend comes from ***** stock, but lives in a Council House. I have known him for donkeys years and would trust him with my life. His home is clean, so is he.

1. Work for 2 turnips a week.

2. Get my tits frozen off.

3. Drive around on a Donkey.

Can I just point out (as I have done before) that discussing immigration problems isn't racist, it's when people start targeting certain groups that problems start so lets keep the discussion on track rather than slating grups of people we know very little about.

Whilst the UK Government may show indifference and tolerance beyond reason the general public, a cross section of whom are members of PW have started to get a bit fed up with a country that wants to fine folk for minor offences like parking and speed cams and old folk who cant pay council tax yet tolerates such abhorrent behaviour as above and even pays out from public coffers to support such scum.

 

Whilst I take the point that a generalisation of religious or political fractions such as Mad Muslins or equally mad labour Government officialdom could be construed as offensive by some, equally one could adopt a view that free speech should remain in place for all and not just a few religious or Government figureheads weather elected or self proclaimed to take advantage of our tolerant society whilst other seeks to silence the voice of concern.

Its not any one post thats the issue and sadly the mods like quite a few others have got bored with every time the Daily Mail tries to stir up a bit of racial hatred with a blinkered badly written article but with a good headline it then gets repeated on here with lots of venom, and lots of missing the point.

The occasional thread is one thing but it was getting to the point of being a large percentage of the threads in the general section and it was to a large degree mis informed pretty blinkered ranting. What was interesting was that a few of the youngest members were arguing against the posts and they are the ones supposedly affected most by the mass illegal immigration overtaking our schools, welfare system etc etc

Fundamentally this is a shooting site and if it gets too political as was happening there is no middle ground other than to say just stop it. Good on ya NTTF and keep the flack jacket on!

I wouldnt let my kids use this site at the moment because of all the racist stuff.
