It came across as if you do not think I had been there, and there are those on this site who were in the same Regiment as myself, so lets not knock each other and support those poor B**tard who are getting mullard now. if this has come across wrong then Sorry? (we also had a problem when they were out of uniform to .but thats a other story ) it was just the simple fact that the local boys did not like them coming into the town. and taking and useing what the locals thought belong to them .(you know what i mean boys ). it was like a challenge if you pick on a army boy .well it made you look big and hard in front of your mates . and if he happen to be a para. and in uniform .well you were top dog for days. it was just something that happen here. and still do . it is sad that they have to hide the fact that they are military personnel. but if it saves one of are dear boys ,from being attack or worse killed by some thug in their own country . then so be it . xxxsuzy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Im in the forces myself and we have been advised not to travel to work in uniform many times in the past and from time to time that is relaxed. Sadly I think the PC issue has been pushed so far and now common sense is a thing of the past. It is so easy to be accused of being racist nowadays just by trying to be British. Berettaman1 why do you insist on being banned for something so silly. If you feel you are being singled out to be made an example of thats not the point cranfield is making at all, Just as a Mod on the site (any forum for that matter) means he must calm this debate if we can call it that. And all of us have to be a little cool headed when replying to posts like this on a 'Public' forum. The last thing we need in the news is how a shooting forum is anti muslim or any other headline like that! At the end of the day we all probably feel let down by the hype we see in the papers and I agree 100% that our forces should be allowed to walk the soil they protect wearing theor uniform feeling proud and be respected. But in todays sad little world it isnt always that simple due to the thugs and scroats as described by Suzy. The problem's this country has wont get sorted out on this forum Berettaman1 so just chill out, sit back and continue using the forum as required. No point getting banned from such a good forum because of a case so unrelated. that way then they are winning, and the fact your banned from the forum would be because you have given in to the very people you seem to hate so much. Hope that makes some sense. At the end of the day the Mod's have a duty to keep discussions such as this under control so just respect that.
