Cranfield
How many members on here buy their loved ones Easter eggs and/or send Easter cards ? I am not talking about buying children eggs, just adult type "loved ones".

henry d
We are going to take my sisters kids, and probably their friends to roll their eggs down a hill somewhere. I don`t begrudge the buying of cards but I think there are too many "........ Days" and as long as the main ones are celebrated with family and friends then that is the main point. Cranfield
A friend of mine and his wife run a sweets/newsagents/card. etc shop. He is forecasting (on current sales, against the same time as last year) that he will be selling about 50% less Easter cards and about 30% less eggs than last year. Recession, or just health conscious ?

Dunkield
It sounds like what they do that on Boxing Day on a hill near us. Kids paint their eggs and then roll them down a decent sized hill, the one that gets the furthest without breaking wins a prize. As for buying eggs and cards for loved ones - Easter is a mini Chrstmas to us we have a nice spread of food and drinks etc (any excuse) And no, I am not religious at all.
