Millomite
I have the Bob Parratt one mate and it's good stuff. Only thing is that they are plus 2's rather than plus 4's and are quite short in the leg for tall people like me. If you're under 6 foot you'll be fine
MM
do folk still dress in tweed and flatcaps? please dont be offended if this is the still the norm. :yp:
JonnyR
I have a Purdey, which sounds very grand and it is, but for a distinctly not grand price if you buy one at a game fair - like the Midlands for example....beutifully made. Sussexboy
Another vote for Bob Parratt from me. I have the three piece suit, the shooting waistcoat and the coat and cap all in matching tweed so that I can take my choice depending on the weather. (The coat has had most service!!) And yes, lot's of people still wear tweed, its warm, comfortable, hard wearing and old **** such as me like the tradition of it

CharlieT
Do you mean some people do not wear tweed, what on earth do they wear then.

Gully
That ebay stuff is made by a company called Wearite Clothing in Tottenham. their website is http://www.freewebs.com/wearite-clothing I haven't compared the prices but I'm sure I paid less than the ebay. I've got a jacket and breeks from them, they're very good, I work in the clothing trade and deal with most of the suppliers of this kit, these guys are the best value for money. Be careful with sizing though, I'm a bit porky and still take a 'small'.
