Probably when the shock catches up with him he will go a bit quiet.

He went to another shooter, confused and still trying to understand what has happened. Also a bit of 'I am OK lets concentrate on someone else'.

What caused this?

Could it be he stubbed the barrel in the ground or maybe it filled with water? It was raining a bit.

When I stubbed my SLR many years ago after cleaning the barrel my arms ached for several days after due to forced press ups!

Hell, I would have sat there quietly looking at the rifle waiting for some loo paper so I can clean up a bit!

If you think thats bad, i once did one of those laser clay things, and one girl thought it would be cool to try and dig a hole with the o/u. I was not amused :good:

thank goodness it was only IR, if it was "real" it would have banana peeled

:good: That clogged barrel stuff is a myth!!!! Mythbusters could get a barrell to explode at all with a multitude of foriegn objects in them so in the end they welded it shut, it blew then!!! ???

At one of my regular gun dealers I was shown a rifle that had blown a big chunk out of the breech end of its barrel. It was a Sako .25-06 if I remember correctly, the guy had left a bit of cleaning patch in the barrel and that was enough to split it. It didn't peel open like the one in the video, it just broke a .410 shell sized chunk off of the barrel

I like myth busters they do try all sorts to prove/disprove all sorts.

With me and my SLR stubbing I had severe punishment then had to clean it. I am glad they did not make me fire it first.

Whatever caused this when I manage to gain FAC I dont want this happening as my response would have scared most animals from many miles around! And caused many a clergyman to blush!
