Had a phone call off a farmer saying that he's being hit by the canada's then going to the lake to settle for the night .

So thought i better get on top of them as soon as i can , after a trip to the local gunsmiths to get the lad some 28 grm steel shells for the 20 g  as he is yet to shoot a goose .

Arrived at 4pm and settled down in wait after 10 minutes a pair came in and landed , told the lad to leave these be as they seemed to of paired up ( have some morals )

Waited another 10 minutes and a skein of about 12 came straight over us 20 yrds up ,let the lad take 2 shots first and he dropped one :D then i dropped two after him

Straight away heard another skein coming the same way ,told the lad to reload and get ready . Another 10 came the same way and the lad drops another  then i proceed to drop 3 more :o

After that i tell him that's enough for now see if that puts them off feeding in the area there causing damage .

If not i will return and sort out the rest for the farmer , lost one that landed in the river and washed away before the dog could get to it :/

All birds were taken away and passed around so none where wasted :D
