Suspect the halo'ing is as a result of post processing. Either sharpening or noise reduction. Its quite a heavy crop i suspect.

Lovely image all the same, i would be interested to have look at the original.

Got the 100-400 yet?

All funds for the 100 x 400 went on new clutch for 4X4.

But still saving hard and getting lots of over time in at work.

I love the football season. LoL

The picture was shot in raw and had to be cropped a great deal for posting

Shot with canon 400D. 75-300mm lens. Unsharpened mask and slightly re sharpened back.

ISO could have been higher at time of shot. Have stopped the cam back -1.

Which I hope will cure the under exposure issue.

GG

Canon 400D Canon Lens 75 x 300mm.

Currently saving for new lens.

Hope this helps

Regards

GG :good:

I used to have a cannon 350d, but I swapped for a Nikon, as I think they have better post-processing, meaning you don't have to rely on photoshop so much.

Those lenses can really burn a hole in your pocket...

If I had taken that photo I would be as proud as punch.

I cannot see why every photo has to be HD or it's no good. Peronally I think photos should reflect what you see with your own eyes. (I would say that knowing zero about photography.)

Some of the photos printed look so unreal they are just too sharp. They look as if they are computer generated.

Good work GG

Negative. Have not learnt how to do that yet.

To be fair it’s never crossed my mind but still if that you’re thought process.

I feel like I'm being interviewed by the OLD BILL just lately. :)

It’s only a picture and you’re all viewing it for free. LoL.
