suggestions for a new motor

Ok, following on from my very unhealthy porsche thread I am thinking about what I could replace it with.

It could be anything.....

So things to consider:

Fuel economy not important (dont drive it a lot)

I really like the cayenne.

I am very poor!!! This is a biggy. If the cayenne is scrap then it will be my biggest ever loss on a vehicle.

I am not small so nothing too difficult to get in and out of or that makes me look stupid

Budget could in theory stretch to 20k but realistically I would like to stay under 10 if at all possible.

So fire away guys. What can you suggest?

Wish I was poor and had 20k to spend on a motor lol.

Why don't you get another engine put in the Porsche and keep that if you like it.?

Do yourself a favour, and have a look at this :

He's selling what has to be the bargain of the year.

Not floating my boat.

Just agreed to put an engine in the porsche so no massive rush to find something. Will keep looking though.

Jag XFR ? Have a look on your other thread, where someone has posted up about their (just) out of warranty 3 year old Range Rover (remember, the company is called Jaguar Land Rover), which has done 45k miles and the engine has just gone bang !

Maybe not the wisest move on the planet ...

Very nice but I think leasing is not for me. A decent used car should be better value for me (he says with a knack ered porsche!!)

I would rather buy used and have someone else cover that initial hit as it comes off the forecourt, which is essentially what a lease costs.

Without any reference to statistics, I don't think the petrol 4.2 supercharged engine has any particular reliability issues.
