Floating Chamber
Serves it right for jumping a barrier, looking foreign and not having the correct papers. Was it carrying a rucsack?

Baldrick
I saw this on a farming forum this morning. It's a great indication of why the Police should not be armed. It's pretty alarming that a 'marksman' took 3 shots to do the job properly.
mr_colt
Given the reports I have heard about the conduct of Firearms officers on gun club ranges when they hire them out; I am hardly surprised. They also leave the ranges knee-deep in 9mm brass as a final insult while they shoot off their glocks that we have not been allowed to enjoy since 1997. mr_colt. loopy bunny blaster
best way of doing it is to tranquelise the animal then use a captive bolt to kill it. or as one guy once did on one of ours, used a 44 magnum you should of seen the thing fly backwards *for those that dont know a captive bolt is a pistol that has a fixed metal rod that shoots out when a charge is inserted into the back of the barrel and makes a hole in the forehead, a steel rod is then inserted into the hole into the brain killing the animal*
markbivvy
that a 'marksman' took 3 shots to do the job the only reason he used 3 was because he had lost the other rounds he was given.
fullbore
looked at a mark on the wall and found the bullet on the floor, a lump of steel, and that was when I telephoned the police. just what sort of rounds are they using????? a lump of steel????? mel b3
i know very little about cattle so please excuse my ignorance . is a six week old bullock really that dangerouse ? . i know it's difficult to tell from the film clip but the bullock doesn't look very big and scary . i spend quite a bit of time shooting around cattle and at times it does pay to be very carefull , but , i don't think i would have been too alarmed with that animal. should i be more carefull?. edited to add , does anyone else find it quite ironic that they were sitting in the next office having a , health and safety meeting ? . All that was needed was to get mr farmer to bring over some cattle, release them into field, leave them for a hour or so, and round round them back up again, bullock would have followed them into back of a lorry no probs no need for mr farmer to loose money

Too simple! Ideal opportunity to get some target practice in; and **** they need it! But why the delay in getting the Railway Station barriers there for reality? Dunkield
Probably shouldn't laugh, but this statement cracked me up: "The stray bullet smashed through a double glazed window of AGS Security Systems in Denbigh Road, Mold, just feet from a conference room where eight people were having a health and safety meeting"
webber
I have a friend who is a chief inspector. His private view is that the worse thing that could ever happen for the police and British public is for police to be routinley armed. If they all shoot like he does, I can see where he is coming from. webber
al4x
I'm a tad sceptical about the article. Firstly no way is that beast 6 weeks old secondly it went through a second floor window despite being fired downwardly on grass and thirdly the guy found the bullet "a piece of steel" on the floor. I'd almost bet its found to either not be a bullet or one that didn't come from the Marksman
