  1. So I ordered the Cooper ATT as they came in at £96 a corner all done. Will update with feed back incase it helps anyone else in the future. ATB Matt
  2. My regular go to tyre: Cooper Discoverer AT3 4s, apparently are no longer available in my required tyre size: 225/65/r17 102H. Vehicle is a 61 plate Rav 4 . So am looking for alternatives, Main 2 so far are: Cooper ATT vs Grabber AT3 A few people have said they didn't rate Grabbers. I always thought they were good on the Nissan Patrol Ambulance I used to drive off road with them on ! TIA Matt
  3. I wish I enjoyed Mackerel to eat but I cant stomach it ! But used to love catching it !
  4. I really hate the dam things, they serve no purpose and and seem to love chewing on my flesh. I buy the highest deet content spray i can and keep applying it !
  5. What do they come choked at or are they multi choke ?
  6. We have just left giff gaff as our signal at home is terrible (Giff Gaff piggy back off O2) and I keep missing work calls. We have just moved to 3 and so far we are very happy. £10 per month = 10gig, unlimited Calls& Texts which include Wi-Fi calling. Internet speed is great giving me 70mps download at home and in the countryside at our shoot anything from 4mps to 30mps. The problem with being with brands who piggy back off the main networks is your a second class citizen: not always getting use of all the frequencys the parent company and users have use of, plus no Wi-Fi calling. For me Wi-Fi calling is a big bonus. ATB Matt

    Wet shave.

Same as all of the above. Ditched multi blade razors and got myself a double edged safety razor. I got a Edwin Jagger DE89 and settled on Astra Green blades, I use Taylor of old Bond Street cream and a good brush. A great shave with no ingrowing hairs or snagging and so much cheaper than multi blade razors and canned gunk. ATB Matt
  8. Just as an update not that am able to drive it much. I've picked up a Rav (61 plate) with 60k on the clock. It wont be as capable off road as the Jimny but on road its loads better. Heated seats for the winter cold mornings and AC for hot summer days. I've got a tow bar delivered now ready to fit and I just want to get some roof bars and some AT tyres (Coopers or Goodyear) . I bought a spare tyre as it doesnt have one as standard, I will carry it in the back and make a shelf to go over it giving me a flat surface again. Will feed back how I get on after the winter when I've had it off road a bit. ATB Matt
  9. Isuzu D Max or Toyota Hylux would be my choice if i had the money and in auto too.
  10. Anyone running a Honda CRV for shooting? Your thoughts would be much appreciated. Am looking at third gen circa 2011. Just pondering over ground clearance, I've looked at a Rav 4 looks to have 1inch more but the CRV is just a nicer drive it would seem. What ever I get will have AT tyres on. TIA
  11. Deer Hunter is where I spent my £

  13. So it looks like high bird shoots will be in great demand for the next 5 years then after that they will have to just produce low birds so that steel can still do its job. I suspect when shooting with steel birds will need to be so low it might not even feel sporting based on previous experience of lead. A nail in the coffin of High Bird Shooting and goodbye to the contribution to the economy from it, I wonder how many overseas shooter will keep returning to shoot when the High Birds are out of range of Steel / non toxic shot. Just wait clay shooters will be forced onto steel next.
  14. A sorry state of affairs We should be ashamed and embarrassed.
  15. Any recommendations for good quality rubber matts to put in my truck ? Flimsy cheap matts are easy to buy but that's not what am after. TIA
  16. Great motors and very very capable. Just about to advertise mine
  17. Not used them myself but out of interest what shot size were you using ? I`ve always used 6`s for my rough shoot but through December i`ve not felt that the size 6 shot has been as effective, could be shot placement but I dont think it is and that`s across a few brands. I think I will be using up my 6`s and moving to 5`s. ATB
  18. I want Fury to win but he`s not the fighter he was, so am going to be putting a tenner on Wilder to win. I dont think Wilder will look to open up that eyebrow he will just land a devastating blow on Fury who wont take it again. Fury needs to drop his coach and get back under his dads wing if he wants to carry on boxing. That`s just my over view of it though.
