  1. The country didn't rebel against him. Sunak saw his chance to mount a coup and took it. A move I predict he will regret because the country won't get behind him. Boris is still more electable than Sunak or Truss I don't know why, but whatever it is that Boris has its still there It shouldn't be true but it is. I don't like him. I didn't like him when he was mayor but he defies the odds. People it seems love a rogue
  2. I dont think thats correct. Boris was always very popular, don't know why but its true. But who else is there to vote for? not Labour thats for sure
  3. The 200,000 members of the Conservative Party want Boris back by a huge majority. They never wanted him to go. They will punish Sunak because of what he has done so will hand the job to Truss The bring back Boris movement is growing. They want his name on the ballot too. Thousands of Tories demand Boris Johnson is on the ballot when party members vote to replace him (msn.com)
  4. The only downside of this, and I agree with Dave, court is the right way to go. Is this the only place you can get your bottle filled? because if you take them to court they are not going to be filling your tank ever again
  5. Treat them like the criminals they are. Handcuff them and straight in front of a judge.
  6. The thing to do if buying one is to look carefully at how quiet they are. I can sleep with one running but I have lived in West Africa and the US. My wife can't even sleep with an ultra quiet fan running
  7. Im glad Ive got air conditioning. It doesn't get used all that much throughout the year but when it does its absolutely priceless. its only a portable and it wasn't very expensive. They get cheaper every year The time to buy is about february. Thats when all the discount deals are at their best. Forget trying to buy one now. i would seriously recommend you think about getting one if these sort of summers are going to get to be the norm
  8. have you tried the meercats or go compare?
  9. A lot of former members of the Regiment saying its all rubbish . It's not what the SAS is about. Not cost / risk effective to put a four man SAS team into a village to bump off some local tribal leader
  10. The market is very flat at the moment unfortunately
  11. We stayed at a campsite in Dol de Britagne called Domaine des Ormes. Very nice but its booked up a year in advance
  12. Yes the food sales can be a big earner. If prices are right people will stop by for a breakfast even if they are not shooting, Even if they are not shooters. word gets round value for money is how you bring in the £££ Facebook every day breakfast £5.99 hammer it. Not once, not twice, every day. Afternoon tea, lunch etc
  13. CBC of Brazil (Magtech) bought Sellier and Bellot about eight years ago and are now using themt to produce ammo for the American market by undercutting the traditional American makers labour costs. Its a dirty business
  14. just be careful not to polish through the lacquer layer Steve
  15. Starmer has never made any declaration of policy since he was elected leader. He just sits on the fence and watches the world go by. All he has ever done is criticise Boris at every turn. now he is in trouble, no Boris anymore
  16. A1 Shooting Ground was originally Boss & Co's shooting school so another bit of history being lost there. He has been plagued by some well heeled antis (including Tony Blackburn) trying to get him closed down for years. It must have caused him a lot of stress
  17. Sellier and Bellot is one of the biggest ammo makers in the world, huge in fact. They make a lot of ammo and components for other brands. You see a lot of it in America, and PPU
  18. Black Lion Cartridges in Wales used to sell them but I think they stopped importing them in the lockdown Sellier and Bellot used to be imported by Edgar Bros if I remember correctly but the trouble with importing cartridges these days is they are very heavy and bulky so the shipping cost makes it unprofitable.
  19. It like that in Russia, anyone with a different point of view is a Nazi plotting to overthrow the Russian State . Seventy five years on and they are still invoking Nazi doctrine as the reason for invading a peaceful and neutral country
  20. There was a huge support for Nazi Germany in America in 1939 and 1940. If the Germans hadn't got stupid and started a submarine war sinking American ships off the East Coast things could have gone very differently.
  21. As a former magistrate I am surprised by the evidence that was allowed by the court to be given None of the evidence about what he was wearing, blond wig, necklace, makeup was relevant so should not have been allowed. High heel shoes maybe, if it could be shown it affected his driving, but not otherwise. The size of his house, not allowed. Not relevant. His lawyer should have been jumping all over the police evidence which was clearly salacious. Cross dressing is not a crime, nor is living in a big house you could imagine it happening to us. When I stopped him for speeding he was wearing a shooting jacket and had three dead pigeons in the boot of his car. Obviously the wrong sort
  22. The Jews in Paris were rounded up by the French not the Germans and the French Government seized their properties. They still have them today. Hundreds of French Civil Servants live in grace and favour houses and apartments today that were stolen from murdered Jews in the war
