  1. Impressive-next time I spot a rabbit with an 8cm head I will know what gun to use.
  2. Awwww-can we all come round and play with it?
  3. Not expensive if they bring home the bacon-if you need twice as many cheaper shells to kill as many crows then they be a bargain-Rottweil have always made good quality shells-well worth the extra in my opinion.
  4. So to sum up-you have bought an S500 instead of a single shot tray for your existing S510 because it has less pellet drop than a HW100 when firing a 30 grain pellet over 275 yards? Is it just me or does anyone else smell a troll?
  5. Why are we now introducing the S200 into the mix?Still trying to work out why you did'nt just buy a single shot tray for your FAC S510-would have saved you enough cash to buy a Rimmie surely? And why are you using 30+ grain slugs in a 30 ft/lb? Airgun then worrying about the looped trajectory? Not wanting to discredit you-just does'nt make sense to me?
  6. Am I missing something here,Nescafem?,Are you saying that its easier to load the single shot version of the 510? And why fire such heavy pellets when you have already displayed concern over the looped trajectory of an FAC HW100?-Why not save yourself a whole heap of grief and buy a Rimmie?
  7. Ask him to send you a cheque-or paypal the money direct to you.
  8. Anyone point me in the right direction for a decent stockist of all things BP? I'm after triple seven powder and caps/shot etc-nearest to MK wins a coconut.Plus-does anyone out there shoot .36 calibre BP rifle/pistol?-I have a shot flask/patches and a bullet mold going for the price of postage.
  9. Its not the gun that makes the pellet drop at the end of the day-its entirely down to velocity and pellet weight. Why buy a single shot when you already have the same gun in a multi version?-i'm confused.com
  10. Is it worth the hassle?-looking on the bay indicates that flocked shells are only a couple of quid dearer (per 6) than normal ones
  11. Not suprised its sold-one of the best guns ever built.
  12. Nail half an apple to the shed floor.
  13. My lads 20g was unreliable when we first bought it-turned out some eeejit had put the piston in backwards-it still cycled most shells in that state though (its an early one-dont know if that males any difference) but works well now,

    Recoil

Practice is the best answer-dont hold the gun any tighter than if you had sunburn allover and dont lean on solid objects.Make sure that you dont flinch on firing and dont move a muscle untill the pellet strikes home-when you are about to fire, exhale slowly and hold your breath for a couple of seconds as you GENTLY pull the trigger-0r just buy a PCP cos they dont recoil.
  15. No-but truly sorry about your brother.
  16. "Choke" is common in rifle barrels including airguns,as for packing greas being the cause of inaccuracy I would have thought that 20-30 shots would have been more than enough to clear the barrel of any form of lube.
  17. If you dont get any joy (and you will most likely need a fair bit of luck) you could pm #### in the shooting available section-for about £40 he will set you up where the birds are and answer any questions you might have-its a bit like jumping in at the deep end but Matt has the experience to set you straight.
  18. If you cannot get Eley then the RWS ammo is just as good. They also do a HV round that is extremly accurate but I think that Tenby Guns is the only uk stockist-if anybody lives nearby would'nt mind a couple of boxes
  19. Hobsons choice for me-I only have one good eye
  20. I agree with your comments to a point,Elby, but it works both ways.I offered a series of DVD's for sale on here and was promptly told that they were available cheaper elsewhere so I simply dropped the price.I had no intention of ripping anyone off and was happy that somebody had prevented me from overcharging.
  21. Wow-that brings back great memories-I once shot 13 rabbits with 13 shots with one of these-regreted selling it so many times.....
  22. Anyone ever owned one of these or know anything about them-i;m considering buying one but cannot find any info on the model at all.
  23. Might be a good time to remind people that buying a "heavy duty" battery is not allways a wise move.If your alternator is not designed to provide the additional power needed to keep the battery charged fully then it will not reach its full potential and will provide less power and not last as long as a standard battery would.
  24. Cutting the barrel down would have no effect on accuracy?Really?

    X factor

To comment on this garbage is to give it credence-total trash and an insult to your average idiots intelligence.
