garygreengrass's suggestion is a good idea and very easy-tell your doc that you cannot sleep etc and a note is a good bonus-threaten legal action as soon as your company screws up-but you would need to quit your job for the biggest payout.

You must be informed in writing that you are expected to be at a meeting-the time/place must be reasonable for both parties. The letter should also inform you of the purpose of the meeting-you should also be told that you can be accompanied. At the meeting you will hear any complaints against you-in writing if made by a third party (you have the right to request a copy). You can give your side of the story but no disciplinary actions can be taken at this stage-it is down to your employer to inform you, having considered both sides of the story, wether or not to procede with further action.Any deviation from your companies procedure is a "Breach of contract" and I would suggest that you read your companies rule book very carefully-cos most managers dont and laws have changed over the last couple of years.Dont give up-analise every step they make.

We use sub 12ft/lb Air rifles as well as .17hmr and .22lr or various shotguns for hunting vermin and time after time its the Airgun that provides the most memorable days-but not the most productive. There is something comforting about using Airguns to hunt, maybe because you need to get so much closer to your quarry and then be that little bit more accurate to kill it cleanly that its the difficulty that we enjoy?-I guess that,if everytime we went out shooting ,we killed vast numbers of creatures then we would soon become bored.I never look down on people who choose to use Airguns only, for whatever reason, because to be succesful they need to be that bit better than people who burn powder in most scenarios.I have never been without an Air Rifle in my 37 years of shooting.

There must be a simple reason why you cannot hit targets with a scope but can,at a fair range, with open sights.Open sights require the alignment of 3 seperate plains as opposed to 2 with a scope. My guess would be 1/ Incorrect parralax scope 2/You are not centering your eye to the eyepiece.Try another scope (beg, steal or borrow a dedicated Airgun scope) and concentrate on the edge of your vision as you look thru the scope-make sure your eye is central by the black ring that circles the image if you slowly move your head backwards.Does your gun have a raised cheekpiece? -
I have decided to go out tommorow and fire 5p pieces thru my SMK and see if I can hit 14 .177 pellets in a row.

What is a fair price for a focus, private sale.

Paid £2k for my 05 9-5 Saab with 36k miles on it-buy private with cash,its a buyers market. -
I heard a couple of DJ's talking about his new single (from the Album?) the other day-the gist of the conversation seemed to be that it would be sacrilage to describe it as rubbish-but thats a fair description.
-
Take it to your local hand car wash (normally run by a couple of Asians/Poles)-they will get it off in seconds.
-
Thats 10 shots NOT inside a 5p piece then?

Minstrals gixer1?-good job they were not Halls Soothers-the police would have claimed he had gone Menthol

Without taking sides here-if its "easy" then a clip should only take a few minutes to film-keep the camera rolling so that we can see the time scale.I am not afraid to admit that I would not be able to match that kind of accuracy. Before this post becomes a slanging match and gets locked-the challenge has been made-so lets wait for the proof

Mick does things like this cos he's a Master criminal-in a kind of Robin Hood way he steals from the rich and gives to the poor.On top of this he is an International playboy.Prize fighter and Mercenary Fighter Pilot,But to top all this he sells guns cheap, gives good advice even cheaper and is a genuine nice guy

Man up and quit bellyaching about quitting - If you want to do it then get on with it-the fact that you are talking about it shows that its getting the better of you-who is in control here?

What does your GF look like?,only I might be able to entertain her whilst you spend as much time as you like on PW

Get rid of the water and the Moss will go on its own-are you sure that a mini digger cannot get in?-some go thru a normal single gate.If the trees shed into your garden in the Autumn you need to clear them up as soon as possible.Only other idea would be to dig a Slit trench at the highest part of your garden-say a metre deep and fill it with concrete to act as a barrier to the water draining down from the land above.

IMHO if they are being a pest then shoot em-if we all start being pedantic with regards to the GL then we would never fire a shot. Its a stupid unworkable rule that needs overturning anyway. The chances of getting prosecuted would be pretty small so long as you are not playing Rambo and use your nonce-how many huntsmen have been succesfully prosecuted since the hunting ban was passed? Its high time groups like BASC became more active in defending our sport.

Any reason I shouldn't buy a Ruger Old Army ?
bruno22rf replied to Catweazle's topic in Guns & Equipment
I have a brass powder flask for a pistol-its been used for a .36 cal but you simply change the nozzle I believe (Krank sells them for about a fiver)-its yours if you want it-just pm me your address. -
Seems a bit pedantic to me-conversation between people should be allowewd to follow its natural course surely-if all the mods were to meet in a pub would they move to another part of the room if the topic of conversation changed? The OP made no complaint that I can see

The French would unite and protest about this, the Russians would find him and arrange an accident-in Iran he would simply dissapear-but as we are English we will do as ever, grumble and mumble under our breath then bend over to take the next shafting. This man is not the real problem-our apathy is......

My apologies for any confusion-I think that Mick (wabbitbosher) has hit the nail on the head here-my lack of technical terms is obvious. However,Johnfronuk, to be fair you have been toying with my stupidity and must pay a forfeit-pics of your guns please
-
Am I being stupid here? Why were the RSPCA not awarded costs if they won the case against the hunt?
-
Did I hear someone say once that you cannot be clamped if you display a compressed air sticker cos you are basically anchoring a potential bomb?May have been b/s but I do remember it.

Some rifles just seem prone to this but there must be a reason-loose barrel or mounts spring to mind if the variation is windage wise or just warming up in the case of vertical stringing with a springer.Other guns, however, never seem to lose their zero,I had an S200 that retained zero for nearly 3 years and my .22 rimfire has kept its zero since I bought it-at least 15 years ago!!

My mate used to use one all the time-he had a Maglite taped underneath the gun and a laser pen duck taped to the side of it (you need to carefully align it with the barrel) then it was brilliant for sneaking around the feed barns with the maglite beam set at about a metre spread he kept his thumb on the laser pen switch and shot from the hip-as soon as he picked up Ratty eyes it took seconds to put the red dot on it and pull the trigger. Most were killed clean but the odd one that was'nt was soon finished off by its mates.

Had one a few years back,a multi. No complaints from me but just got bored with it so sold it on (seems the fate of most of my guns)Really well made for the money.
