I think that when J.M. Browning was designing weapons there was not the choice of well built, proofed, easily available guns. If you could see the future it would be a wonderful asset. Not when other safer arms are already available.

Potentially! I would think that's a fair bet! I wonder if he is planning on adding an extractor or even an ejector. It would appear he has managed to construct a weapon that is slower to reload than a Semi-Auto, Pump or Break Barrel!

As said above fit the 1/2 choke and pattern it with your chosen cartridge at the range you expect to shoot at. Then try with the other more open chokes, the results will give you some evidence to be able to make a decision.
