Hi all little while back asked about sim days had some good advice , the enemy bless her bought me one for Christmas, good bit of advice was about using a lighter cartridge, what would your go to size be , normally use a 28g for clays , thinking maybe 21g or 24 g , what’s your thoughts ? Thanks

Never used one myself but have a mate who uses one on occasion , mostly just as a walk about gun if he’s out with the dogs , he does complain about cost of shells and limited choice , but as it doesn’t come out a lot I think he just puts up with it

Bought two Varta torch’s couple year ago from Argos , small and medium , bought quick to use and was going to replace them with something better but never needed to , great little units , not expensive , very bright , good run time on batts , throw the light a good distance

Like most things sporting the big guns ( excuse pun ) are paid to use a product , and would be be as good with any other be it golf clubs , footie boots , tennis rackets ! In our game it doesn’t matter if you use cheap or expensive if the shots in the right place it’s a good shot ! Yes I know there are marginal differences in them , quality , consistency , but to an average shooter would that matter ?

I think there great squirt of cleaner down barrels pull through twice with bore snake and they are spotless , buy a hoppes or good make , the cheap eBay ones don’t last cord snaps etc

Go for it put the application in , can’t see you would have a problem , all the feo lads I’ve met were fair ,most are shooters and most-helpjust be honeston the application and when they visit I’m sure you will be fine , good luck all-they can

Hi ya , never used paper cartridges so couldn’t say if this was normal , but if you have any concerns then why not just stick with the plastic .?

Why ban everything , just so it’s easier and brushes it under the carpet , trouble is the more it happens the easier it becomes to ban the next thing which upsets people ! Fishing , shooting , fast cars , cheap air flights , smoking , drinking ?

Are you far from Newmarket , I know the larger saddlery shops do engraving , as on headcollar name plates , there’s horse requisites or Gibson’s , mite be worth trying tackshops in your area

Are their any jewellery shops near you or one of the big pet shops , they often have facility for engraving dog I d discs

I know a few people that have one and the disco 4, they love them , like any car there are ones that have problems but they are not as bad as people make out , people love to knock the Land Rover Range , yes they went away from the workmanlike easy to fix models to all electric all singing models but the hundreds of thousands they sold they didn’t all have problems ,,,,,,!!!!!!!! For the money I think they are hard to beat

The real shame for everyone , owner , insurer and even the thieves , is the fact they will all be broken up and the individual gems sold and as they are stolen value probably drops to 5 million , still not bad work if you can get it !! Inside for 50 minutes not bad hourly rate !!
