Tried the first glass. Its ok. It is not gingery enough and a bit too lemony, yet quite drinkable. I will need to find a recipe closer to the supermarket type ginger beer.

Having shot springers for over 25 years, I have recently been converted to PCP air rifles. Save up your £££ and get hold of a divers bottle and fill regulator, then bide your time, ask lots of people for their opinion and then get a pcp, you wont regret it. Cheers

The hoover was on the landing. I knocked out the light in the bedroom where I caught him with the pipe. And then let him have it. The chase went across several fields until the police joined in. I was nearly charged, except that a knowledgable sergeant intervened. I had a great deal of trouble with being in the house alone again for several years. Looking back over 20 years ago it is interesting but at the time, quite scary.

Dec 1988 I caught a burglar in my mums house. Ended up hitting him good and hard with the hoover pipe. I have never experienced adrenalin like it since. He got 12 mths inside.

I know that these weapons were probably legally held, but is it not time for another arms amnesty?? I handed in a couple of .38 starting pistols a couple of weeks ago. I think that we all need to calm down and wait and see if there will be legislation changes. I believe from news reports that the 2nd weapon was a .22 rifle and not an assault rifle. If the law changes I won't be happy, I gave up keeping lurchers due to a change in the law, I love GB and will abide by the law, we need to be level headed about this tragic event.

I am sure that you can get matching replacement ones, someone told me about a website for a gunsmith in this country that had them. Hmmm, can't think of the name of the firm though.
