    WELL HI

Hi JACKYBOY, welcome to the forum - had any snow up in not given this week?
  2. They look like the ones i shot last week
  3. That makes a lot of scents pavman -
  4. "In return she is going to give me £50,000" only 50K? - She's a tight *** aint she?
  5. I informed my local FEO that my farmer has a fox problem - Leicestershire constabulary class fox as vermin - thus enabling a person to use a single gun for a wider range of quarry. An advantage to this philosophy is there is less risk of alternative guns left in a vehicle. Also got a bit of bad news yesterday as four more land areas were cleared for me... The 3 years closed certificate has recently gone up to five years.
  6. GUNNER:- by the way i am the one in the middle next to my son and here is my favourite buddy called gunner yer irish right?
  7. :( coo - you beauty axe Na - but my grandson always brings somat jonno The best results - of course - are in the rolled up part behind/under the rear of the base - before I turned it over 'cos I could only view the upper part of the target at the ranges I was using.
  8. Guess I wont live this one down till I do one on me own on a calm day using consistent shells, and leave the target in the same place instead of experimenting with drops I should add that it was only a post about using up wallpaper rather than suggesting I was a good shot - which I have never staked a claim to. But I like the humour guys, yes really Perhaps someone could help me out by explaining why I need to re-zero the windage when changing from sub's to super's - and to a lesser degree, the two variants of eley subs? :( Any ideas at all would be appreciated.
  9. :( Ha, I was just waiting for that one laddie's - I almost dint post it Shooting into a blustery head wind I was trying out the differences between super/sub sonics, and 2 different subs, and letting someone else have a go - wouldn't want em to try it on live quarry. At 100 yds the super's were almost close to the zero point of sub's at 80 yds. The sub's were eley xtra Vs eley xtra plus, it was too windy to guage if the plus's were more accurate as has been suggested by someone on here, but they are less "greasy"

    airgun b.b.s

It seems to have allowed itself to get hijacked into a general enquiry/chat forum that includes airguning rather than tother way round. In addition - and I have bought items there myself, it's also become a bit of a "harmless (innit) dealers" arcade - not too bad in itself if it was sponsored by a non gun dealer, but imagine how its non advertising sponsor must feel subsiding competition... taking the **** that is I would'nt incur more costs to keep up with the burgeoning flood of threads that have so little to do with airgun techniques/tips etc. I recently saw threads about a nissan micra throttle body - which I sorted, a citroen berlinga diesel engine won't start, control line 'plane flying, wooden model boat building, some woman who was directed there as a good place for idle chit chat - but no interest in guns... oooo the mind boggles. If it got back to mainly airgunning/bbs I think it would be a brilliant forum
  11. And som bottle tops too - 'cos most of my wabbits ave gone awol
  12. My daughter had two rolls of wallpaper left over - and I got to thinking...
  13. Hi mate, welcome. A mate and I went bassing off holyhead pier several years ago. Being as we'd had a meal before we went I tried a peice of gammon rind as bait, got the most humongous bite I ever had - but din't have a dropnet - thinking we'd not get anything special - and we were using 20lb line & trace. Leaning over the wall we saw a massive swathe of silver before the line snapped. Din't get a bite after that.
  14. A farmer I know has suggested a rimmie is a reasonable tool for pigeons - and if his land is Cleared he wants me to have a bash. Would this be correct? I say IF it's cleared... He's never had it cleared - but a tree hugger repeatedly calls old bill if he shoots on his land - and they know it quite well apparantly.
  15. Breathtaking photography with the background still in focus - He must have one hell of a camera   Steady now lads, it is an old boy that probably wouldn't want to get up to any mischeif  Thanks for sharing it
  16. I have cash in my paypal account which funds my shooting. I want the lastest available model combro - but the makers dont seem to accept paypal, and it's the only way I buy my bits and pieces. Anyone know where I can buy a new one - or sell me theirs if they have done what they wanted and dont really need it? Thanks in advance
  17. Thanks guys - will find out at the week end
  18. I picked up 500 eley subsonic hollow xtra, with "PLUS" on the front of the packs today. They were the same price as my previously used "normal" xtra's Could anyone tell me how they differ?

    WANTED

    PM sent to hawkeye
  20. Well I quite like his outlook on life and grasp of the english language. All to often we see examples of how well educted todays youth are(n't) I don't usually get involved in trivial stuff like this - but for a twelve year old I am VERY impressed. It would seem that you have both been extremely well schooled I'm going to have to leave it there otherwise I'll ruin my reputation as one who says very little but learns a lot on forums and such. I think they're called trolls? :*)
  21. Now there's a handsome offer - totally selfless thought for someone else  I do hope the lucky person who gets this keeps in touch with you and invites you along anytime you visit the uk
  22. OOh GOOD GAME - GOOD GAME :( What about the cuddly toy?
  23. "See here some more details:Shooting cinema" EH? :*)
