They used to put their stuff through BCA auctions, Manheim tried to steal the contract so BCA bought the company (bit like the man with the razor). Their big advantage is they have a fantastic database of current auction prices. Bare in mind Glass's guide and cap use auction prices to collate their figures also so WBAC are ahead of the books. Yes the men in the huts are incentivised to knock you down. BCA is not a "nice" company. My advise is try them out but don't burn any bridges until you've got the cash!!

Shotgun start is a golf term where instead of everyone starting on the 1st tee people walk to a designated tee and start playing when a shotgun (actually usually a fog horn) noise is heard.

Stuck in 2nd is probably a limp home setting, try driving it by using the stick to change gear. It really needs a diagnostic check. Other than that check heater works as plastic blend flaps break and rear diff is a little weak but can repaired.

Difficult to answer without knowing all the details but some of the stuff on eBay comes in plain white boxes straight from China if you know what I mean. Plus your local garage doesn't want to wait around for a part to be delivered when they can ring local factors and have the stuff sent out on the next van. If you drill a 6mm hole in the bell housing you can insert a Philips screw driver onto the ring gear to lock the crank shaft.

Good thing about Oakleys is that you can wear them for other things. Can't really sit by the pool in a pair of Hi Defs. I've got v28 in M-frame which I really like for low light and G26 and Positive red iridium in my Radars. I actually use the G26's the least.

G26 are shooting specific lenses, they make red stand out against green. Might be worth giving them a look if you can get them.

Check the heater works as the blend flaps break (not a pleasant job) apart from that they are pretty good. Suspension bushes break and give some strange handling sensations but are cheap and easy to replace thanks to ebay.
