  1. They also help to stop rain drops from getting on the glass, thats if you go out in the rain with your rifle. There are a few of my bits that have street lighting nearby,that can add glare on the objective lens sometimes, so the shade does help a little.

  3. Wolly's brill I remember poaching trout with a 5" 1"" rod from wolly's,an intrepid black prince a tin of worms, and countless days wagged off school, my Dad never did ask were the fish came from, we enjoyed them though.
  4. Yes but its not there for any reason whilst lamping,Its a SUN shade, in some cases you may find it a benifit if you get glare from the scope mounted lamp,but you may also find the tube wont be long enough. To stop glare off the mod I now use a scrunch (ladies hair accessory)

  6. Have a scout round for flexi hose for car vents.heaters, you may find some nice plasic tubing that will do the jkb..

  8. You could use threaded bar and resin,(screw fix) do a search for securing cabinet or simalar (top right of the board)

For sale a "Blacks Octant 3" tent unfortunately without poles or pegs, (They got left behind some time ago) they are replaceable from millets,army stores and simalar type shops, there is also a very small rip approx 2" ---5cm in the fly sheet close to the bottom,(this can be repaired at minimal cost.) This tent has had extremely good reviews covering all of the worst weather that can be thrown at it, The origanal price for these was in excess of £200. But for PW members only this is for sale for only £35,inc P&P as i am prefering nowadays to stop in B&B if you require piks can i suggest you "Google" "blacks octane 3" thanks dougy edit;; just noticed, incorrect conversion inches to cm

I tried that but just keep getting red in the cheeks,and afraid to admit, did pop a little wind too, am i doing something wrong maybe your fingers are a different size to mine Can your measure your fingers, or the gap that is created once you take remove your 2 left fingers.   15. I think you need to be looking at some different material for your targets,those slices of lard aint going to last much longer Have a look at your local scrappies you may find something a little harder its good fun though,

  18. I have the 77/17 grey heavy laminate. It was a pain to start,but trigger kit and barrel float with the right bullets it shoots well. Selling See what the hornets like first, I may sell but not this side of Christmas.

If It were me, i would asked to meet up at a clay ground or simalar with a few of your buddy's,(not your shoot at the quarry) then you can suss the chap out and get a measure of him face to face,find out a little more, if your not happy with the first meet then try again week after or whenever your next shoot is at said clay ground.
  20. Find yourself sack,spray it with stayaway ( large yellow tin) and chuck your bunnies in there as you shoot them ir just after. Also get a plastic box & lid from diy .
  21. +1 for scarpa had them now for over 30 yrs,i cant fault them, they lasted 10 years plus.So on my 3rd pair. Why mention waterproof socks If the boots are waterproof no need for waterproof socks is there
  22. Been got my bargains, entrace fee plus ,so happy, some muppet of a stall selling MORA knives for £25 & 35 they normally retail at 8 & 12 for the carbon heavy grip handle. I walked off in disgust. Got a reel for my beach casting for 25 cheapest on www was 37. And tripod rest for 12 Nosler bt 28 normally 30 h380 1.50 cheaper so stocked up on bullets and powder. Oh! And did a fair bit of toty spotting.so not a bad day really
