aister replied to flynny's topic in Bullets, Cartridges and Reloading
I may be wrong but I doubt it's 1 in 9, I am sure mine is 1 in 12. -
Does anyone know of any gun shops that stock nosler bullets, I am looking for nosler partition in 140gr 6.5 flavour. Thanks in advance.

Excelent well done, I have had a bad season where ducks are concerned. I have had a couple of decent flights but the usual spots have bean dead. Makes it all the better when it all comes together.

Punts looking good, keep up the good work

Depends where he is at, inland in Scotland he is fine with lead.

Another good day I wont forget was my oldest son shooting his first rabbits.

I have an SX3 field 3" and love it, I have done a lot of shooting with it from light clay loads up to 53gr goose loads and the only time it lets me down is through neglect and lack of cleaning. I would definitely recommend an SX3.

A good accurate gun at an affordable price IMO. My mate has one and for the price I cant fault it. -
Excellent, well done . Cracking pics as usual.

Sorry to hear about your health but by the sounds of it you are doing a lot better than expected. Chin up and crack at

Happy new year to you all, hope you have a good one. I had a very good start, was out this morning and only one group of geese came over but I managed 3 for 3. Tight lines, straight shooting and stay safe

Having a look at "shooting in Japan" online doesn't look promising, I think you will be struggling to get a shot to be honest, but good luck.

I once had a shot of a beretta 686 28 bore whilst shooting pigeons and absolutely loved it, once I got the feel of it and managed to slow down my swing it was downing pigeons with ease.

Just wondering what your best day of 2013 was? Any firsts or red letter days? Include pictures too. Mine has to be over a few days when I was down in Kent for a weeks sport and managed to get my first rainbow trout, my first fox, my first go at woodpigeons and my first fallow, its a week I wont forget.
-
I love snipe shooting but usually only do it when I can make a day of it and make it worthwhile when it comes to plucking and eating, I would say Kent if there is plenty around go for it, very sporting shooting and a great tasting bird. I might be wrong but is snipe not classed as game? Thus being able to use lead on them in England?

Happy Christmas to you all. Hope you have a cracking day.

Something like these Danoi99 ha ha

I will get my granny to knit you a pair like mine out of Shetland wool, warm when dry and warm when wet and she makes mine with the thumb and fore finger off for reloading. No joke they are better than anything I have bought.

Excellent, well done

Just thought I would share this series of videos I found on youtube. I found the guy explains things very well and its quite well put together. Some of you might have seen it before but I thought it might help others, it certainly helped me with a few things. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HUx-lC8Eiqc&list=PL0oOXpubI7Q0yjS--w1FRJeSN6B2NB8Kw
