One lad at the A6 Gun Club blew the end off his barrel on his new Krieghoff. The new barrels were allegedly bigger bore and the old chokes stuck out slightly in the barrel.

Easy - Once upon a time in America. De Niro - best actor I have ever seen - at his finest. Brilliant and superb musical score.

Mungler - sharp as a new tack and spot on. My feedback did stand at 96.2%. This was because in my early days, I left negative feedback for non payers and people who tried to cheat me. This resulted in them leaving negative feedback for me. Just checked now and I stand at 100% !!!!!!!!! Ebay now appear to only count feedback during the last year.

I think the new system is absolute garbage. Why should a buyer have more rights than a seller? How does that work? Either you have a two way feedback system or you don't have one at all. It will not last like this - it will be changed, when sellers vote with their feet.

World class player - complete idiot as a human being. Massive ego and Adam's Apple to match. Wherever he ends up, the local Red Light girls are in for some trade.
-
codling - it wasn't petty name calling. I thought your post was a daft one - extremely, but you are entitled to your opinion. Your comments about his leg were totally unnecessary. End of matter - as far as I am concerned, unless you wish to continue.

The view that it should be left to them to sort it out is stupid, bordering on absolutely stupid. Irresponsible idiot springs to mind. As for your comments about the leg injury - the words absolute cretin spring readily to mind.

Openseason Chokes Skeet and 1/4 extended BARGIN
Gordon R replied to adrian3824's topic in Guns for Sale (Private Sales)
From memory they are made in the USA by Carlson. They enjoy a very good reputation over there. I had some a few years ago for my Classic Doubles. I was very impressed. -
Make that seven times. Just walking my dog and bitch, on leads, in a local field. I heard a woman shouting "Poppy, Poppy". Turned around and a white Staffordshire Bull Terrier ran up and waded into my dog. Predictable outcome. The woman ran up and apologised, which was unusual. She said her daughter had accidentally let the Staffordshire out. Makes a change not to be on the receiving end of abuse.

double barrel - summed up in a few words and spot on. Thanks.

I can't honestly believe that anyone thinks you have a dangerous dog. I have two Japanese Akitas. The big pup is ten stone, but has been attacked by probably six other dogs, which were not on a lead. Mine always are. I have asked other dog owners to put their dogs on a lead. Some have said they did not need to, others have told me where to go. I don't know why dogs attack mine, but they do. It always ends up with the other dog taking a pasting and me being told I have a dangerous dog. The last time, a dog rushed in to a field where mine were on leads. It ran straight into the big pup and all hell broke lose. His dog ended up a bit of a mess. I said that his dog should have been on a lead. He told me to f... off and threatened to smack me in the face. I had to point out that there was a lot of talking and not much sign of the smacking. He then proceeded to tell me my dogs were dangerous. I said that he was an idiot with a large mouth and suggested he went away. We did not part as friends. I would not trust my dog off a lead with others because I don't know how they or the other dog would react. Any owner who says his dog never bites is borderline stupid. The first time is too late.

Whereabouts is it?
-
Bit late for any advice now. I bought a B525 Advance Trap stock and an Ultra XT adjustable Sporter stock today. Got a bit carried away. Would have still preferred a standard Browning or Miroku stock.
-
Sadly you are three years too late. Prices have increased slightly.
-
Does anyone know whether the stock from a Browning 525 will fit a Browning XT or Miroku MK38? The stocks on the XT and MK38 are the same.

He never had a case, but once he said "rifle has arrived midday today, very pleased", he had less than no case. Sounds a complete idiot. Happy when he saw it and then started to tinker. Shot himself in the foot, so to speak. Just write him off as a professional complainer.

I'm with Cranfield on this matter. Totally ignore him and don't get involved. I've had two similar instances both involving my son. The first person bought a CR500 Motocrosser from my youngest son. He rang up the following day to say it had seized. When talking to him, it emerged that he had started the bike and left it propped outside his house - running - to warm it up whilst he had his dinner. It seized up whilst propped there. He still expected a full refund. I politely declined. He made a number of threats which were reported to the Police - end of matter. My son sold his car to a young lady, whose brother rang the following day to say that my son had sold her a pup. The car was a minter and I asked him what was wrong with it. He could not say, but demanded her money back. He made a number of threats. I told him to pop round and take it up with my son. Never saw or heard from either again. My little lad is 6'2", 16 1/2 stone and a talented boxer (Incidentally - that is the little lad in my photo). In both cases, I regret getting into any sort of conversation with either. It seemed to encourage them to imagine they had rights in the matter. Both items were sold as seen, but were also in first class condition. In your case, if he was going to ring, he should have done it when it arrived "covered in mud and rusty". After allegedly seeing its condition, he elected to take it apart - why? Idle curiosity? That just sums it up to me. As in the first instance - you just don't know what they have been doing to them.

Hoppes BoreSnake Gun Bore Cleaner

I have been using one for about two years. Very impressed. -
500 Norton - think it was an ES2. Had to send for Jimmy Nuttall from down the road to start it - I was 13 and could not kick it over. He always left me with " don't stall it" - which I usually did. Rigid back end, which was a bit bumpy on the local field.

I have used WD40 for the last 30 years on shotguns and have never seen blueing affected. I have seen some views elsewhere that it can harm solder, but no scientific facts - merely rumour. If someone knows better - holler now and save my guns. I've also used it to clean the barrels. Quick squirt down the barrel - one pull thorugh with a Boresnake. Clean as a whistle. Every month I use Brownings own barrel cleaner and make sure nothing is building up.

Where is Fircombe Hall?

She was never a true "looker", but she looked light years ahead of the dope ridden hag that she has become. Top songwriter, hell of a voice, but a complete waster. She needs to sort herself out quickly or she will be dead or in the gutter soon.
