  1. The fact is you don't have to look disabled to be disabled, my wife on the outside looks fine but inside she can hardly breath as due to blood clots her lungs are moth eaten and her heart is irreparably damaged meaning she can walk short distances slowly but any long distance she will have to use her chair, she has had lots of abuse from idiots saying as she's 30 and looks fine she obviously shouldn't be using a disabled space, all she would rather be is normal and healthy and go to work but she tried and kept passing out so had to give it up, people should realise that just because you can walk and look fine doesn't mean that on the inside you are fine, remember disabled people would give everything just to be like you and me and lead a normal life but hey lets crucify them for getting a free parking space because some people cant control a army of brats they choose to have and think they should be right out the front of the shop instead
  2. Not if you are buying it from the stuck up horrible lot that run the shop at sporting targets risely but I have had some discount at partridge guns Spalding and fenland rural sports and a couple of others.
  3. I shoot much better with my sbs these days and if I'm going shooting I will often grab that one, also its a non ejector which stop me having to hold my hand over to stop them getting launched into space.
  4. I did a cbt when I was 16 which ran out after two years, I then did another cbt two years ago at 28 which has just ran out, i have had a car license since 18 which with the last cbt gives a 50cc license for life without l plates as long as you keep the certificate but to ride anything bigger i need to do another cbt plus a theory test then the mod 1 and mod 2 tests on a 600cc to get a cat a unrestricted license which i am going to be doing soon and am currently contacting different training centres to get some prices.
  5. Glad the knives were good quality, I like Gerber knives from what I've seen, as i said i would have used the sale myself if i hadn't already bought a new knife a couple of weeks before but i thought it was to good a saving to miss for you guys. Glad it turned out well for you all.

Some of you may be interested in this sale, the prices aren't bad http://www.bushwear.co.uk/monthly-specials.html?hsCtaTracking=f91e23b1-c6d5-4fb3-9679-b1dbbc6314bb%7Cb3373744-94d4-4df7-b59c-3f57a886d3d3&utm_campaign=Brands&_hsenc=p2ANqtz-_MtNMddesqHZHQzi1S97JTcgJVsx4sZZry9PdlDvNtMSEJ2rN9mFTAGSNXf4gfNZkocg67f-42K71wUvutCAC7aC47Wy2ItOsS0RuMuVuuoqSM1ac&utm_content=16291349&utm_source=hs_email&utm_medium=email&_hsmi=16291349

  9. My wife read part of the first book and said she thought it was a load of rubbish so no worries of me having to sit through it at the cinema.
  10. Poundland sell unscented ones to, cheers for the heads up I have bought one of the Tesco scented ones as my bathroom gets damp due to poor ventilation so I'll give that one a go.
  11. Www.cokeandpopcorn.ch I watched the new episode earlier it was okay not a lot really happened.
  12. Done thanks for the link, I am in favour of doing my renewal form online as long as its easy to navigate especially if it helps keep the cost down as they suggest. I understand it won't be for everyone though.
  13. No your fine for using them while shooting etc, I carry a fixed blade on my belt or in my slip while shooting and I carry a lock knife to work and back each day as I use it in my job, When not working I have a legal carry penknife for general use and its always in my jeans, its blade length is under 3 inches and its non locking so no probs. The law on locking knives is pathetic but its the law so you have to tow the line. The fixed blade I take shooting is a Mora companion and it's a great knife for this purpose, maybe doesn't look like much but super sharp and great quality for a cheap price think I paid £12-£15, I got the stainless steel because I don't like carbon steel blades but they sell both.

  16. My boss wanted the painters he hired to work over xmas but me and my work mate didn't want to come unlock and turn alarms off as we had to book holiday for this break so the boss let the painters unlock themselves even though they have never done it and what a surprise the first day the phone rang at 7.30am from the alarms going off so as im not paid to be on call the phone was turned off and will be put on when I return to work, I love any time I get off as normally I am working lots of overtime so leave it where it is.
  17. I think a lot depends on the older generation you are brought up around, my dad is a fitter welder and taught me how to fix a lot but when I went to work most of the blokes my dads age and older wouldn't show any of us how to do anything they did as they thought stupidly that it made them irreplaceable, came back to bite them when I started maintenance engineering as when their machine broke and they asked how to fix it I wouldn't show them but the guys that helped me learn I showed what I knew.
  18. Normally me and my wife go to our friends house as they have young kids so can't go out as everyones busy, we always have a nice time but this year we are having a evening in just the two of us at home, a few drinks and a good laugh with my wife is going to be great, we always have a great time in together so a takeaway and a few films it is for us.
  19. I got lots of nice presents, way more than I deserve but I am very grateful, got a beautiful trevor ablett pocket knife with purple heart scales from the wife and I love it along with a tweed/leather baseball cap, fishing log book, fishing zippo lighter and loads of other nice things, money and socks and pants from my parents and lots of nice bits from my sister such as new alarm clock and a belt, pistol crossbow from brother inlaw and finally some clothes and a really nice jacket from my inlaws, and aunt and nan. I love all of it and I am so grateful but just seeing everyone else happy and having a nice day makes me so happy and content. Hope all of you are enjoying the Christmas break

Kefalonia, thanks and merry Christmas to all.
  21. The guy I used to work with was always banging on about creme eggs and wagon wheels etc being bigger when he was a lad, I always used to say I think it was just he had small hands as a lad now he's man his hands are bigger so it all looks smaller The main thing shrinking in the supermarket for me is the amount of food I seem to get for the same money I always spend, I think I need to start going somewhere else.
  22. I remember when I was quite young I had asked Santa for a teenage mutant turtle play tent and I was woken to my dad who had built it downstairs tripping and swearing bringing it up the stairs to leave in my room for morning, I realised Santa wasn't real that night but I was so happy with my tent I pretended to be asleep and then got in my tent and slept in it all night.
  23. I nearly always bring knives back from holiday, obviously ones that are legal in our country, as long as its in checked luggage not hand luggage and well packaged so handlers wont get harmed its fine, last holiday i bought a very large nazi replica bayonet for my dad who collects them and a number of folding knives for edc and it was fine, you are not breaking any laws as long as they are legal here and where you are traveling to then there's no problem. I have never declared them as you are not breaking any laws if they are legal so i dont see why you should need to.
  24. That's great I love that one.
  25. What about joining up with pxfarms and shooting on their land? Never used them myself as i was lucky to find a couple of perms after a lot of calling in at random farms and being turned down, so i cant say if its any good or not but maybe its worth a look if you are desperate to get out shooting although if i remember right its not cheap.
