That's a shame mate, seems a silly pointless rule from them as what does it matter as long as they fit in, if you split 5 over two safes there is no more security than crammed in one as long as it locks, as I said cambridgeshire took the sensible approach and were fine with it, my door shuts easily and its not really a squeeze and none are damaged.

Im in cambridgeshire and they were fine with me putting more in my 3 gun safe, I emailed and asked my feo before I bought more than 3 and the reply was that a 3 gun safe can usually hold 5 and it depends how careful the cert holder wants to be with regards to squeezing the guns in, they also said as long as the door will close and lock they were happy. If your unsure then just fire a email off to your feo but I can't see why there would be a problem with putting 5 in your 3 gun safe mate I just had to put one upside down and they fitted in fine. Maybe it is down to different police forces but it seems silly as if they are locked away then what's the problem.

Thanks mate I will take a trip over to the Cambridge one and see if they have as well then, The torch looks good although I don't know much about torches, I bought a 120 lumens AP pro torch from eBay which takes two aa batteries and has a cree led inside and its brilliant I couldn't believe how far it goes at night so im guessing all cree leds must be really good.

Any old sky box will work with a sky dish/minidish and you don't need a card either, the old freesat card you could buy was just a con as it only used to add channel 4 but you get that on there now anyway, I use a very old pace box and minidish and I get plenty of channels including some not on normal freeview such as the horror channel as I love the cheapo horror films. The only thing which won't work doing it that way is the recording function on the newer boxes but that doesn't matter to me, although it may to some people.
