  1. I was told when I did mine that a friend could sign and that the Good standing person bit didnt matter anymore so a work pal signed mine off for me, maybe they've changed it again since then.
  2. Poachers choice, its liquorice and damson beer found in Tesco on the single beers shelf and bloody lovely.
  3. You can buy a anti fog spray for motorcycle helmet visors and car wing mirrors, google bob heath anti fog spray and it should come up, great stuff I used to use it on my visor.
  4. Can you use any calibre as I would like to use .177 and my dad would use .22 both break barrel?
  5. I may well come this time as a bloke at work went last time and couldnt praise the day enough saying it was great fun, my dad would probably be up for a go to, Cheers for the info.
  6. sounds like a idiot that had a go at you immie87, there are some on here that arent worth bothering with which i just add to my ignore posts sections and you wont see any of the posts they make again, you can do the same on your profile, but there are a hell of a lot of really nice members and a lot of them really helped me with information and advice when i applied for my first shotgun certificate and again afterwards, I have met some of the members and chatted to one a lot through pm's and they have all been really great guys, it is a great forum and i am addicted and read threads on here everyday as you can learn a lot and be entertained as well, Im sure you will enjoy it on here and i hope you find very good homes for your pups.
  7. Mine was a 12 shot magazine air rifle my dad bought me as a kid my first one, I gave it to my brother in law as he said he really wanted to get into shooting and I hadn't used it in years, I realised I made a mistake about 6 months later and swapped it for a underlever I had bought and now I'll never part with it, it means to much. Glad I did as my brother in law took the new one out shooting in the rain and couldn't be bothered to clean it and now it sits in his bedroom covered in rust.
  8. That's exactly how me and a friend I shoot with understood it, no under 18s then no need to lock it away so lean against a wall or whatever, When there is under 18s in the house one day I will put a cable lock through the trigger guards which should be more than sufficient.
  9. Got mine today thanks Teal great quality as always.
  10. Nice shooting there mate im very jealous, you can't beat a bit of duck for dinner, if I had a chance of a clean head shot on a duck I would take it as long as its legal, gotta take some skill to stalk it within air rifle ranges.
  11. Just wanted to say a public thank you to Salop sniper, top bloke and a very generous offer, thanks mate I will try them in my gun and pass them on if they don't suit my barrel.
  12. Haha, haven't seen scum in years. thats a top tip, unless you really want a cure for constipation.
  13. I've got a mossy oak one i think its a 26inch barrel, mainly use it for clay shooting (mainly just because i often pop into the shops after going out after live quarry and find the semi to awkward to take down so i can take the stock with me) and i love it, never had a jam or any other problem with mine. I clean it after every trip out as with all my other guns, its a lovely gun to look at in my opinion but then i love everything camouflage From my own experience you wont regret your purchase if you get one and it will hopefully give you years of reliable service.
  14. Welcome to the forum mate, that meal looks great, love that its all from your garden cant get much fresher ingredients than that
  15. I got my car stuck once, parked at the end of a long grass track about a mile from the road, when me and dad came back the wheels were sunk so i told him to drive while i wound the passenger window down and pushed, Dad managed after some struggle to get it out and i got sprayed head to toe and it all came in the open window covering the passenger seat, dads first thought was to take a picture of me covered with his mobile as he couldn't stop laughing.
  16. Just ordered mine, black size medium, thanks for these again Teal.
  17. nice tip that mate cheers, have to remember that one
  18. Hello mate, what is the height width and depth of the cabinet please? will it take scoped air rifles? Cheers
  19. I got my dad a pair of high lace up boots with no zip made by hi Tec magnum and they have so far lasted him about 8 years just changing the laces, he loves them and says they are the best boots he has ever had, his don't have steel toe caps in though.
  20. I've caught a couple in the house over summer while I have the windows open, wondered what they were myself.
  21. 3 in one is all I have ever used on my air rifles and shotguns for cleaning and oiling afterwards, my dad always told me all you need is a thin oil, my guns don't have any rust on them and the bores are mint.
  22. I always use Norton, I get it in the half price sale every year and pay £20, never slowed me down enough to care and I have never had a virus with it and feel much safer as always using my bank card on it, My mate tried bullguard after being told by the shop it was the best, it was full of viruses two weeks later and the computer had to go back to be sorted so would stay clear of that one myself. If you want to stick with Norton just find it on sale in one of the shops, Argos, pc world, staples etc and just put that in, there is no need to renew online and pay the expensive prices. As with most things everyone has a opinion what is better you just take your choice.
