  1. Hello, I have a lovely 686 28" with an unusual straight stock. It has been a sleeper so it's in superb condition and well within your budget. Regards GG
  2. Hello OB, I read your original post and thought the pigeon book looked fascinating just from the cover so I would be happy to pay your postage plus a few quid if you still have it. best regards GG

  5. Hello, I've got a really nice 687 that has been hardly used. It's in superb condition, has fixed choke 28" barrels and an unusual straight stock with an unmarked gold oval. It also has a new kickeez pad and will come with a beretta case. I would have listed it on here if I could work out the new format!! PM me if you think you may be interested. Best regards GG
  6. “You can see our house from here” Jesus
  7. Personally I dont yet have a problem with crack cocaine but if I ever do, I can see how those sausages could save me a fortune. Do you have to dry them out or do they go straight into the pipe? Just curious. GG
  8. Leave it in the boot of your car or stand it on top of the washing machine if its in a dark place then you dont have to agitate it. Enjoy GG
  9. Yes you did!! Congratulations my friend. GG
  10. I'm selling my D3, it's an 07 manual and has never been off road 104k miles. PM me if you are interested. Regards GG
  11. Just on bikes... Every kid in north Hull had 2 bikes, their 'best' bike that they usually got for Christmas and which only came out for showing off and a 'bomb' bike which was made from bits of other bikes that were nicked. Mine had cow horns, fork extensions, a fairy cycle wheel on the back and a racer wheel on the front with a 5foot aerial on the back of the seat. Down our tenfoot the best bikes were as follows: Mark 1 choppers with the screw on gear knob that you had to unscrew every time you went to the shops or it got nicked. 10 speed Raleigh banana racers with 1/2 inch wide tyres Grifters - A kid at my school wheelied his one handed around the outside of the playground whilst he was in blue gear. (Anyone who had a Grifter will know how hard that was. After that we graduated onto stripped Honda CUB then as soon as you were 16 try to get a job and save up for an AP50 just to annoy the fissie boys. GG
  12. I read marine biology and zoology at university and I've just learned loads more here. The posts about why fw salmon do not feed yet will take a fly are fascinating. I'm trying to draw a parallel with another animal with a more developed central nervous system but I've drawn a blank. Are there any other theories as to why they will take a fly but not feed? Also, are there other species where this is the case? Regards GG I read marine biology and zoology at university and I've just learned loads more here. 13. I have just been in my local Mole country store and picked up 2 slabs of Lyalvale English Sporter 7 1/2 shot 28gram plastic wad carts for £44.40 each. Seemed like a bargain to me unless anyone knows different. Regards GG
  14. Mike, thanks for posting your reply, it's fascinating and scary at the same time, especially for people like me who have no experience of the issues you described. That's one hell of a journey your family is on and I wish you the best for the future. Best regards GG
  15. 13 Months without a seizure for my lovely daughter Debbie. They started at 14 and she is now 34 and in the last few years had been having ~30 seizures per month Believe me it's been hellish - injuries, side effects of medication, psychosis, suicidal thoughts, prejudice & harassment - we could write a book and probably will. After two decades of having to watch her 24 hours a day, she's now living in her own house 5 minutes away from us. Praise the Lord for vitamins and CBD Oil... :-) Mike That's a great post Mike but I think you are missing a really important part ... How and why did Debbie's treatment change so that she is now doing so much better? If that's too personal, please ignore this question but for me and I'm guessing, other followers of this thread, your post is both uplifting and intriguing. Have a really great day. GG
  16. Thanks for this everyone, it's been great to read this weekend and as I'm currently at my mother in law's in Dentdale I've been pretty much cut off from news which after last week is maybe not a bad thing. Regards GG
  17. I was thinking exactly that Lloyd. Great to see you found some woodland Mel, will you be posting any pictures? GG
  18. That square one looks more recent.
  19. Not off piste at all Mice. Thanks for the nice image. GG
  20. Make slow and bramble jelly. Amazing with game or lamb and superb at Christmas. GG
  21. And it's still only Saturday! I live in a village with a great community feel and we often talk about living in our own little bubble. The media bombards us with so much doom and gloom and I get why it's important to have a grip on what's going on in the world but it's nice to be able to retreat to what we know and love. Thanks everyone , these are great to read. GG
  22. That's a good start, let's see what the weekend brings. Happy Saturday everyone. GG
  23. Ok, after all the recent doom and gloom, how about telling us all something nice? No bragging or one upmanship, just something that's nice to share. Maybe something you did or you saw or that you are proud of recently. Here's mine... This afternoon my lad came running in from the garden all red faced, telling me to "come and watch " I did just that whilst he did 3 pull-ups in the apple tree. He said he would have done 5 but I put him off because I was laughing because he had his tongue stuck out of the side of his mouth as he was concentrating so much. I told him he looked like the dog. He's 11 years old and 5 stone wringing wet. Made my day. Over to you, let's see how this goes. Regards GG
