  7. Ah I get it now only just started with firearms had shot guns only before
  8. So a variation is needed and licence needs to be sent off to have a free slot before another gun can be bought
  9. If I sold a firearm on a slot to buy another, how does that work?
  10. Only problem for me so far is with Winchesters not firing. I put one through 3 times 2 hit close together the last hit that fired it was 180°round and the back of the case blew where the 2 close hits were resulting in smoke n fire n bits of powder coming out the breech. Got some old hornady that caused no problems and a newer lot of Winchester and hornady to see how they go. Tried cci fmj on targets and had no misfires.
  11. Aerosmith and ZZ top 2009 MGM grand garden arena. Never been to a concert before then. Seen meatloaf and elo since then, off to see elo again next month.
  12. borrowed from news thump and cleaned up as im not linking it because it might have a wee bit of swearing but it has a point What the **** is a ‘detox’? asks your liver Your liver reckons that if you think you need a ‘January detox diet’ then you probably didn’t listen during Biology lessons at school. The large, grey, floppy organ that lives in your tummy and works 24/7 to remove toxins from your system wants you to know that deciding to live on kale and banana smoothies for a week will not make the slightest difference to its functioning. The liver, which actually knows what it’s doing, added that as long as you don’t overdo it over a period of many years, you may as well just get on with your life as it’s already on that job and looking out for you. In combination with several other organs including your heart, spleen and most of your intestines, it issued a statement confirming that human biology is actually fairly complex and you aren’t going to trick it by eating nothing but tomatoes until next Tuesday. Having a carrot juice enema is also a waste of everyone’s time, they added. “All these diets say that toxins build up in your system”, patiently explained your liver, which is the product of billions of years of evolution to prevent exactly that happening. “Can they hell . I’ll tell you this: if ‘toxins’ have ‘built up in your system’, that means I’m not working and you’re in way bigger trouble than eating broccoli soup can tackle. “For the sake of clarity, I’m talking ‘God call me an ambulance right now’ levels of oh poo, not ‘I’ll eat fewer profiteroles and jam’. “Anyone telling you that their diet can remove toxins is taking the urine And that’s the kidney’s job.”
  13. Lee loader looks Good for starters Not sure of the amount I'll use so I'm probably best starting small scale, though if the other loading kit above was closer I'd probably have had a go
  14. I've had a few not fire first time and some dented also saw a few spent cases that were cracked on the neck. I'm cz455 th with extra strength firing pin spring that didn't make any difference fired less than 700 rnds in total
  15. I had to get some off a vw that some tool had rattled up to the max I had to jump up and down on a 3 foot long bar and it was bending.
  16. I've seen garages gun the nuts up then go round with a torque wrench and click the torque wrench on the already over tightened nuts.
  17. Thanks, all very interesting. Sadly it'll be a while before I can afford a reloading kit as I've just bought a new Henry and Norfolk is a 300 mile round trip approx.
  18. What kit is needed to reload and what kind of cost? What would the cost of each round be reloaded?
  19. I bought loads of stuff in December when they had free postage
  20. Wouldn't have thought all the injectors have gone at the same time I've replaced the odd one but I'm sure they suffer from fuel pump failure when loads of tiny bits of metal from the pump take all the injectors out, watch out for sparkly diesel in the system. Even when I've replaced one when the pump was ok it misfired for a while before it ran ok.
  21. Yes a lot of help thanks I know where there are old marlins and a decent henry and a bit rough miroku also I'm on the lookout for a 357 lever gun too but only new henry and rossi close by
  22. Is that a "cowboy" repeater style one? (edited first post with a picture)
  23. Whats about? Within reasonable distance of Huddersfield. somthing like this
  24. My thoughts are you could still have a 17hmr without expanding ammo on your licence for just target shooting
