Same with mine with cci standard from a 25 round ruger mag, I used cci sub hp in 10 round mags and it was happy with them, it even cycled rem golden bullets but I won't be buying any more of those(not consistent) better off with blazers. Mine is a stainless model from about 1998 it has a few modifications stainless bolt handle, quick release bolt, volquartsen extractor, titanium firing pin, lighter trigger and a houge stock

Blimey, Peter Dyson is less than 5 miles from me wonder if i can pop in for a nosey

I've had a similar thing when it wouldn't start without easy start. Turned out to be an injector leaking back badly and dropping the rail pressure too low but when easy start started it the increased speed of the pump raised the rail pressure enough for it to start and run normally but with the return pipes disconnected from the injectors there was a lot of fuel squirting from the faulty injectors return.

Interesting but don't they need balancing?

Local rfd list them but I don't know if they have them in stock. http://www.kirklees-guns.co.uk/rimfire.html

I've got the same gun and I couldn't find a direct replacement for the nasty plastic butt plate so I had to get a sand to fit. I marked it and sanded it with a hand held belt sander got it near enough didn't sand it while it was on the stock. It was a world of difference to felt recoil much nicer. Jon

For years I've filled the slave with fluid so when I put the gbox on it forces fluid out and leaves the slave air free, then if the system has no air to the slave pipe when I plug the pipe in it has an instant clutch pedal. Vivaro/traffics can be a swine to get air out to the pipework but once theres no air from the bleed nipple to the master its easy. The syringe tip came from a Renault master tech.
-
I bleed them with a syringe and pump fluid back up the pipes from the bleed screw to the master cylinder and fill the slave with fluid before I fit it. Done a few, work at a Renault specialist. Used the same trick on my rd350 front brake perfect brake straight away.

Mine seems ok I have a skeet choke in it and I use it on clays with 28g 70mm fibers, never patterned it though. Short carts seem to get caught in the lifter
