  1. Shocking really. If she has a claim then so will everyone who has ever tripped on a kerb. What's happening to this country. Won't be long till we're only allowed rubber spoons and have to stay in cotton wool houses for fear of hurting ourselves soon.
  2. I like pcp but prefer a Springer, depends what your like and are used to I guess.
  3. Give me a good Springer any day (tin hat on)=....
  4. Summer time, lol, too cold wet and miserable the last few weeks for me.
  5. Decent car wash applied neat, wd40 as well, done it loads if times. T cut after if its standing out where your removed them.
  6. You can fit additional locks in the inside thr bolt into the floor and ceiling however if they want to get in they willl. . Better making the venue look unattractive to them, burglar alarm, cut down bushes that cover points of entry that sort of thing, radio and lights on a timer when you go out . That way the neighbour gets burgled for leaving the window open and you get passed by as too much hassel. Bit late now but could be worth it for piece of mind. There is some great propert marking schemes that your local plod can tell you about and the crime prevention officer can explain it all to you, if they haven't offered then request they come round and have a look. Edited as my sausage fingers managed a triple post.
  7. Hate to say it, however jl has a point on this one. I would questionb if it is enforceable.
  8. Approx dates will do, simple checkto complete, don't lie nd you'll be fine, docn't worry about a speeding conviction and just tellvthem it Will be no issues
  9. Approx dates will do, simple checkto complete, don't lie nd you'll be fine, docn't worry about a speeding conviction and just tellvthem it Will be no issues
  10. Use to shoot a telegraph pole at 250 yards, aimed at the top hit the bottoms, just for fun, all the shot hit ther the pole so accurate, just the drop to contend with
  11. Lots of data recovery services don't use the usb stick and don't try to fix it if you don't know what your doing, simple really. Send it off and get it recovered. Nothing, jot one thing is ever deleted ever until written over, if corruption is the issue an algorithm is aplied and it can normally be recoverd.
  12. Look, I'm not an anti however he works for a disciplinedbservice hence has to follow rules, if his supervisor says no guns then no guns is the rule. As for searching his locker then yes they can as it remains property of thre fire service, no warrant needed, his station commander can give the authority. Private vehicles on fb property will be able to be searched as a condition of entry I suspect. I have to work under similar conditions, as often pointed out we're not special and can change employment if we want. As for his own time that's the issue, he's at work.
  13. Cleary your not concerned. Says a lot.
  14. Yawn. Best you get the union involved, pehaps another strike so your sc can discuss his perfectly reasonable and I suggest quite lawful order of no guns at work. You can't put many fires out with them and last time I checked there not much good removing people from car crashes. Why make such an issue out of it? Why get on the soap box and shout it about so all your othern other stations may also be disallowed from doing it. Evenryone gets a **** boss sometimes, get over it, plan your day around it. You won't win this one and I agree with the sc. I would be annoyed if someone in my station was told no and then decided they should canvas people elsewhere to make the argument hold more water. Can u imagine a soldier questioning a major on if he should go on stag for 3 hours or have some extra sleep and then asking others what they thought of it when they lost, or a policeman refusing to arrest someone as his Sgt asked him perfectly reasonably to do so ..... Why are the fire brigade any different, I might be getting on my own soap box here but its really annoying me, there is nothing unreasonable with your supervisor telling u not to bring a firearm to work. Get over it.
  15. Does it do a good job on the fox? Noisey or otherwise.
  16. I'm struggling see the issue, your supervisor says no guns at work, you say not fair. Your not in charge. Personally I think your making something out of nothing, as much as I like the water fairies I have to agree with your sc on this one, there is no need for it to be there. I'd struggle to have mine at work even in the armoury. Comparing it to another competitive sport doesn't quite cut it either as last time I looked you don't need a licence for any other sport that doesn't involve shooting or driving. Why ruin it for all the other stations by making an issue out of it? Take it on the chin like the big tough fireman/plaster/plumber and get over it Before you know it your "disciplined service". Is on strike again and the army have. To help out
  17. They also eat any green things they see so careful of the lawn or wherever u out them, and watch out for any poo as once its on your hand I swear it doewnt come off for weeks. Good creatures to keep but you get fed up of eggs after a while unless you can sell them as we used to
  18. Hatching eggs is easy with the incubator and all, mum did it for years, quite interestingbwatching them hatch aswell. Good luck to you.
  19. As long as you have fun who cares, had some days I thought I couldn't miss no matter what, had other days the pigeons could have sat on the hide net and I'd still have missed.
  20. Nothing dumb about them, worth millions shoot all day and have fun with hot wives. Not necessarily in that order lol.
  21. Mine are on the girls cert and hers are on mine, my feo wasn't that worried about it when I asked, just add her cert number to the fax when I send it off. The only problem is I cant hide any new guns from her as I've caught her practicingbher mount so she would notice a new addition to the stable.
  22. Early or late afternoon are my fav times.
  23. Both work fine, the ones without string get annoying when u miss the second smaller disc and your Mrs gets it first go, at least that's my experience
  24. The hw45 is a great pistol, wish I had kept mine, the old style tempest is about 50-70 quid second hand and almost as much fun. Would easily dispatch a rabbit caught in a net with a head shot and be fun on tin cans plinking. Not anywhere near as accurate as the 45 and not quite as powerful either but over 4ftlbs
