  1. Get 3 guns, don't mess about
  2. For 500 have you considered a second hand lanber? Plenty about, good guns and you will have change for carts.
  3. Would be interested in the answer to this one myself as have no idea which lanber I have, no ejecter prob though, is the chamber clean? Might be a bit mucky and holding them a second too long....
  4. i use Kent velocity but they can kick abit after 70 or so, found it put the Mrs off shooting so tried some comp x in 21 g fiber flavour through a mates miroku, couldn't believe the lack of recoil and my scores were much higher as were hers despite the 21 g vs 28 I normally use (both size 7.5). I would and will use them again. Did wonder if they would fail to set the second trigger though what with their lack of recoil, any one know the answer. As for plastic v fiber I can't tell the difference, don't spend mega money but you do pay for what you get, Kent, hull or another will probably out perform the shooter 99% of the time, try a few and see which you get on with. If fiber u sometimes get confetti raining down that bothers some people, with plastic you might get plastic fouling which bothers others and makes a mess. Steel vs lead I have no idea about but would say to check if your gun is steel proof before testing. Good luck and have fun.
  5. Had an hw99s, used it daily and I would say that thor himself had made it, I was surgical with it. Regularly hit an old shotgun cartridge in excess of 50 yards, standing, no matter what the weather was doing. Loved the thing. One I put a vast amount of pellets in a cat food can at the far side of the lawn, some 80-90 yard away, whilst smoking and eating crisps. Glorious afternoon. Never got in with pcp no recoil. All my hunting shots were sub 35 yards. Every one. Never went further, wasn't confident that I could be 100% sure everytime, despite my rather legendary shooting ability to hit 5p sized target whilst being stung in the ear by a nettle or similar. Sub 12.might have the power to kill at 60 metres, but can you do it every time you try, if you can't then reduce the range no need to risk injuring an animal for a slow death when it will be there again in a few days. Don't give the tin cans any mercy though, or the polo mints.
  6. Had a Honda one, cleaned with the hose pipe, serviced with a spray of wd40, still going no probs.
  7. Most likely its the bios settings thinking either a raid arrauly or similar, check the bios and have your first hdbasbthe boot drive with everything elseboffbthat, also make sure raid is not selected, been away since overly with that and im not sober but u should get my drift, also checkbtge jumpers on the bqckbif second drive and make sure its set to slave
  8. For the love of god, u have to show your cert prior to purchase, I know Jon l that it will be a copy as its scanned but lets face it that has been accepted for ages and is tried and tested, hence ACPO are happy as well as the CPS, they have the legal ability here and not us, it has been discussed and approved. End of. Totally legal. Beyond reproach. Legit. Get over it. Also quite useful I hazard a guess. We can all cry about the "point of purchase" but then argue about it being at the time of purchase or the point, neither are defined so we can take the dictionary definition on it, also encompassed usefully. Finer legal mines have disectede it and are quite happy, sleep easy. I will.

Interesting question, normally its the chap that rear ends you that is at fault however we can all remember the insurance fraud where some guys were breaking on a roundabout and then claiming various injuries, it wasn't just fraud they were convicted of. If you deliberately stamp on the breaks so someone hits you then you are guilty of dangerous driving as what you did when u were driving was inherently dangerous, the chap behind will probably be guilty of undue care and attention ie careless driving. Wouldn't want to try my luck in court and the insurance premium that's is civil and not legal in any way will undoubtedly go up.
  10. Without wishing to argue the point, the jc chap was interviewee in a national magzine and covered this point, he stated that it was discussed with police and they were more than happy he complied with the law, I believe u have to scan your licence and send it to them, presumably they file this.
  11. Get a few slabs and go shooting :-)
  12. Tricky little things, took me 2 hours of dribble to fix mike but was drunk so may an hour was wasted.
  13. Alienware are over priced, u can source the same components else where cheaper and pop it together yourself for way less money. I know as I have. The same components in the same way as they only go one way, configuerd the same run the same. A decent gaming rig considering the chips are more powerful than needed 99.9% of the time should be half that. Google is your friend on this one.
  14. Always had good experiences with them myself.
  15. Not working. Mint eley fourlong smokeless box of 25 no 8 with orange and black writing and a box of sparten no 5 with blue lable. anyone know if they are worth anything let me know, guessing not but hey ho have to ask.
  16. The others are branded as sparten. Will upload some pics when I get home. No idea about them really, his grandad recently passed and the gun was 100+. No idea about the carts but would suggest they are pretty old. Paper cases with role over cardoard tops. Haven't got a .410 to let him fire them off. Will see what they are worth if anything. Worse case they will make a paperweight
  17. Right, I have acquired some old .410 carts in boxes, one box is mint the other not so, I believe they are eley fueling 2.5 inch no. 8 shot. I will post lifts later but wondered if they would be of value for a collector. They are paper cased with only .410 * stamped on the base.
  18. Formatting won't erase anything and it can all be recovered. Destroy the disk if its sensitive.
  19. You can have them if the cert is worded correctly. Saw one once and it was very nice too
