  1. Hi Gordon, I've been away for a few days so haven't had chance to try it out yet. I hope to do so in due course and will add my views on it soon. Steve.
  2. You are correct, and there are a few available that fit both the AR15 and S&W MP 15-22. A bit expensive though. I was looking at one sold by Rimfiremagic. It's, as you mentioned, a one piece unit. I'll take a look at some Youtube video's and see what's what. I'm not sure of the trigger pull on the rifle, I'll check it later. Thanks.
  3. Has anyone ever fitted a drop in replacement trigger on the above rifle? I would like to upgrade the trigger on mine but not sure if it's a case of 'one out one in'?
  4. I received my package from Parcelfarce at 09:00 today. The sender is contacting them to try and get a refund on the postage that I paid for.
  5. Finally received the above. Now to take a week out to find out how to use it!
  6. I used EVO STIK 'IMPACT' contact adhesive to glue my wife's trainer soles. It worked well.
  7. Next day should have been Friday. It was posted on Thursday. I didn't have a choice on what courier to use.
  8. My package was sent down from Bradford two days ago and was delayed and now sitting in the Parcel Farce depot in Newport south Wales! It was supposed to have been delivered yesterday (I paid for next day delivery in the price of the goods!)
  9. To be honest, that's what I was thinking. The mounts have gripped tightly and as mentioned, there's virtually no recoil on the rifle (.22 Hornet)
  10. These are the original mounts that are on my 527. The Picatinny rail that I purchased fits perfectly onto these.
  11. Because I intend using a Thermal scope on the rifle and it can only be fitted on a Picatinny rail. I do have mounts that fit directly onto the rifle, as it was and still is used with a 'normal scope'. The Picatinny rail that I purchased off a PW member has 4 screws (two on each'end') that attach to the dovetails that are fitted on the rifle.
  12. The fixed rifle mount on the CZ 527 are 16mm. I fitted the Picatinny/Weaver rail which was made for that rifle (I believe)
  13. Yes, I did notice on one set of mounts that the bolt that goes through the 'slot' on the rail is square'ish and it would not seat deep enough into the rail. I was going to file a fraction off the bolts but then found another set which were slightly better. I'm not too happy at the way the mounts clamp on the rail though. I don't think the scope will come off, and the rifle is a .22 Hornet so hardly any recoil. These are the scope mounts. They grip the PicatinnyWeaver rail but don't seem 'right' to me. I've tried turning the claws around but no joy. Thanks.
  14. I recently purchased the above rail off a member on here (it was the right one) to attach to the 'dovetails on the rifle. The only issue now is that I can't seem to find scope mounts (25mm) to fit correctly onto the rail. I have fitted one set but not entirely happy with them. Does anyone know if there is a certain make that will fit correctly please?
  15. For sale: This was owned by my late father. It's in good condition and has no identifying marks on it. The blade has a very fine film of grease on it. Overall it's in very good condition. Sell for £20:00 inc pp. Proceeds will be given to my mother who will add it to other monies for cancer charities. Buyer must state that they are over 18 years of age.
  16. TESCO sell it at the Deli counter.
  17. I've still got a few bottles of this excellent lure for sale.
  18. That's exactly what I did and it worked well. 👍🙂
  19. Has anyone heard of, or used one of the above bipods? I had never heard of them until someone on a different website suggested I change my Magpul bipod (on my .308) to one of them.
  20. He did realise but couldn't make his mindup if he wanted to sell or not!

    Temu

I used them a few weeks ago, to order targets and a few other items. To be fair, all was good and I was pleased with the products. Another good website for targets and 'shooting accessories is Aliexpress.com.
  22. Personally, I found that this make of shotgun was excellent. I bought a new one back in the late 1980's and it looked more than a rifle than a shotgun.
