Recently moved from TVP to Norfolk- what a difference in service. Called dept, to advised I had moved into area, did they wish to inspect cabinet, was askeda coupleof routine questions, no need for visit. Wrote letter to dept explained had discovered error on SGC certificate,TVP error, this was on Wednesday ammeneded cert SGC Returned Saturday by Norfolk licensing. Re FAC requested variation for FAC air, granted and returned 12 days. First class professional service. How I love all thingsNorfolk. Happy days. Malcolm

Innocent people are being held to ransom on both sides- no winners - the only way to stop this is to take railways back into public ownership. All these planned strikes are part of the masses becoming nervous. Economic growth is opposite to what was threatened pre exit. Austerity hasn't worked, national debt increases month on month NHS is sliding in to private ownership, French and German elections coming up.... and then President Trump will be in charge in two weeks time! Guys, some of you really need to get out more. Sadly we still have some poor teachers. Most teachers IMHO are truly wonderful. The work they deliver day in day out is just amazing- they work with mixed ability classes, a lot of classes have kids that are on the autism spectrum. Working with kids that are both ends of the spectrum is something you have to see to appreciate. On top of all of this they have to deal with parents..... I really wonder why they turn up for work. Volunteer at your local school for a term. You will learn so much more than you did when you went to school. It's truly amazing. Malcolm

TVP state on their website 60 days for grant of SGC. is it not time that the various shooting organisations worked togeather and help its members, with this appalling lack of service. If other forces can provide a professional service why can't all forces work effectively.? David, BASC, are you in a position to comment? Suggestion- if we could organise a concerted effort, and we all write to our Police Commisioners asking them to look at performance of our own police forces,perhaps things may improve? If we were to do this AND copy your MP in on letter, things could change for the better, rather quickly. It's better than putting up with a very poor service. P C are elected! Malcolm

Keg, to answer your question, no I'm not a miner, I have Welsh Heratige my grandfather paternal, farther worked the mines in the valleys. My great grandfather and three of his brothers died in mining accidents, Reason I lived with miners, I was at Uni, went to various places, too see what was really going on. I shoot CZ 22. Ranging from 20- 100 yards. My gun is 15 years old. When I first bought it 3years ago it shoot like a pig! Gave it good hard clean, polished trigger. Worked through loads of different makes of ammo. From £4 for 50 up to £11 for 50. Settled for centre X £6 a box. Changed mounts on Scope. Fired with and without moderator. Finally found out mod was working loose during shooting 20p washer sorted it out Secret was not clean it more carp in barrel the better it shoot. Take it out of cabinet shoot 50-100 rounds at at a time, put it back now never clean it. Shooting of bipod average 98.4 at 25 yards 99.2 at 100 yards. Sweet little gun paid £150, wouldn't awap it. Motty never tried any country shooting. Always done target shooting, reason why is I have COPD, 50 years of smoking, mugs game! This means my mobility is slow- and my distance to walk is limited.
