  1. Original gun wanted but may consider a modern item.
  2. the way a club should be ran .well done.
  3. Aye its still here.I wont move on price much as this is solid gear.It will be doing its job long after we all all long gone and our great great grand kids want to reload.£90 plus post
  4. Its more to stop small shot (bismuth) from deforming in the barrel .Just in case it is the older bismuth.I have loads of the bloody stuff. Some from Mark Robson thats in shop bought eley vip rounds and another pile i bought from a fella on here Its the loose stuff im loading so i dunno if its high quality grade or not
  5. I was told its new bismuth but-----who knows .safe than sorry etc.I fancied using the 82 as i was given a few lbs by an old shooting buddy of my pops that done the eden with us when i was a boy--the powders probably as old !!!
  6. I recently tested cheddite 3" cases with cx2000 primers and 27 grains Nobel 82 ,lbc 48 wad slit 4 ways and 46g lead shot.crimped.Paterned well. Now i have loaded up the smaller cheddite 70mm deep brass case with 27 grains again ,same wad but shortened by 3mm or so to hold 40g of buffered bismuth#3 shot.Lovely job not tested as yet though.Opinions on buffering Nobel 82 loads? I used approx 18 grains of 1g of buffer in each 40g shell.Using same 27grain charge to push that bismuth out a few feet quicker.Opinions???
  7. AT YOUR OWN RISK OF COURSE.REMEMBER ITS A LEAD LOAD SO CHANGE YOUR CHOKE TO FULL AND *** CHANGE IT BACK TO 1/2 OR LESS. IF YOU PUT STEEL THRU THE GUN
  8. I done some 37g lead loads and dropped the powder charge to 40 grains instead of the 42 grains that drive the 50g lead load c&g promote for csb-0.It patterns well. Not 100% about poke as it has not been chronoed .I reckon as a mini magnum it aint bad.Used the blue cheddite primed 3" case and lbc48 wad slit 4 ways.RTO btw not crimped..
  9. Done it in a 37g Bismuth too .patterned well at 45 yards albeit a tad thin (but it was BB).Might try 42g with the 40 grains. It was also 1/2 choke so ,full choke would draw that pattern in.
  10. well i pattern tested 40 grains plus 37g today.tidy!
  11. without data its totally speculative with no proof house testing been done they are overcharged m8 for sure these 50g offerings.A nice 1 3/8 style load would be good.i used a fiocchi round back in the day-- lead load yellow cased (mini magnum) lovely goose stoppers they were.i used em in my russian hammergun.
  12. Rather than the 50g /42 grain lead load i propose the 37g steel load with its 40 grains (steel load off c&g) may be adaptable for lead as i do not ilke those 50g lead loads at all-.Any suggestion as to what powder charge should be "acceptable" for a 37 or 42g lead load???? using csb-0.
  13. cheers,i need one soon as really
  14. Sold mine ,miss it.want another--simples.message me.I also have a single 10 for sale maybe deal deal???
  15. good deal-and i have the reloading gear to put it all together so what ya waiting for
  16. Capper/decapper tool.resizer and rto machine.will sell the lot for £100 plus post rto is adjustable for 2" up to the 3" cases if i recall correctly.
  17. steel lever prime/deprimer for 410. Also RTO for 410.Plus a resizer (steel cylinder) 410. tap in with mallet use dowel and tap out. P.s rto makes lovely finish
  18. im thinking of doing this c&g load with bout 47 g of bismuth in an LBC-48 wad????
  19. is it a polished action model?
  20. cheers for the heads up ref the 16 but im after a 12 same as the one i sold years ago.Polished action not blackened. My hamemrgun was a working gun ,well cared for but i used it in the most inhospitable locations accounting for masses of wildfowl back in my early 20's.Stock was ok but not as plain as i see on some of those guns for sale. allen.
  21. As above russian toz 66 wanted commonly assumed to be baikal s/s 12 bores.
  22. Its not something to get overtly anal over though. You find homeloaders, not all, but some , i have noticed on this site boasting about their homeloads they create, many being well over CIP guidelines yet they do it none the less--as i do ---and thats fine but if anyone dares to load up a round without their queen bee sanction its like a drag queens hair spray convention.Stay safe but dont let anyone make you think its like merlins wizardry coz it bloody well aint.Download some clay and game data and ask around .plenty of bismuth loads .Im after a nobel 82 one right now myself. And ill end up doing a load i done for alphamax style rounds 40 years ago --and ill not wreck my gun--and ill get geese as i always do.
