I worked in Munich for 6 months - 100 yards from where the Oktober Fest is held - but unfortunately it was Jan-Jun so missed it - although I have been to numerous Stadt Fest's when stationed in North Germany in my youth which were excellent and again - no trouble (except for squaddies) I will say that that ground it is on (Theresienwiese) is bloody miserable to traipse across when it is -20 degrees C dragging your suitcase

My car has been back to the dealers for quite a few things in the 2.5 years from having it - more niggly things with the exception of pads touching the disks from new - and loosing all my parking sensors and camera - and you need them on this car and it is booked in for something weird happening when pulling off. TBH though best get yourself over to jaginfo.org - good bunch of people there and will point you in the right direction There was a nice one with a for sale sign on about the age you were looking for at FD several weeks ago but I don't know who's it was

Gather you aren't looking at new - there are variations depending on age - the big one being (in the 3.0) was the change from a 6 speed auto to 8 speed. I have. 2.2 200 sport with the 8 speed and to be honest I wished it had the 6 speed box as it is always hunting the gear - however I had a loaner 3.0 with the 6 speed box and that drove really well with better selection of the gear. Then there were the changes to a colour screen and a HDD based satnav Then there is the S model which is pretty mental for a diesel

4 years Army in the Signals, doing the same job overall as techs but I didn't have the qualifications to be a tech. Left after my 3+1 and applied for RAF (tech), Navy (Tiffy - passed the tests but I had to be signed on before my 21st birthday - my last day of service in the Army was the day before my 21st!); Police and Prison service - the only one I didn't get was the Police technically but took the Air Force as a Telecomms tech for 9 years Meanwhile I was working as a second man delivering Guiness around the North West Warburtons was working out of Bicester untill they had a new bakery built in London. First time I drove a truck (on the roads) was delivering bread around East London!! That was a bloody experience. Funny enough, a few years latter I nearly had work to design a one off solution for the Labs in Bolton for Warburtons however the person wanting IT then left the company to go elsewhere so the project died

You can pick up an old kart frame for a couple of hundred - 3 or 4 years old. Pick up a comer engine for pittance on ebay and away you go. Next they will be wanting to race and that is when it gets serious money....ask me how I know!!
