  1. @bruno22rf here you go mate.
  2. But they are in in the area around your feeder๐Ÿ‘ I went out this afternoon, I'd rather be out early doors but the light and time are still against me, I topped one feeder up in the dark this morning on my way home so new that one was being used. So 3pm saw me taking a walk, first feeder nothing, rest of the walk pretty much nothing showing, very unusual but its getting on and I'm guessing the beasties were out earlier. On approaching the area with my second feeder I heard the joyous sound of the lid banging, it's pretty over grown so getting into position isn't the easiest, made my way in, and I could see two squirrels one on the feeder one above. In position sat down and now we wait, about two minutes maybe before the squirrel charges back down to the feeder, I'm thinking do I wait, see if the other comes down as well? Nope PFFT BANG, thought I had missed but the squirrel flopped off the feeder. Another couple of minutes and the Tawny owl came from behind me again and more or less attacked the feeder, just turning at the last moment, looks like I've made a feeding point for the owls, no idea if the camera will pick anything up but it's worth trying, so the squirrels are under pressure even when I'm not there ๐Ÿ˜‰ First of the year, young male, his partner didn't show again and the JSB heavy went straight through, the only two I saw in two hours.
  3. The expansion of that slug is seriously impressive, that's going to make a mess when it hits a squirrel.
  4. Mice!

    Rat bait

I'd go with this, or bird seed, what are the rats coming in for?
  5. Mice!

    Strange scam

    Cheers ๐Ÿ‘
  6. There can be only one, maybe? Razor wire, dogs and machine guns?
  7. Mice!

    Strange scam

It was the timing that made me wonder more than anything.
  8. All lies, I heard on the news it was..... coffee.
  9. https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/news/uk-news/shoppers-who-refuse-wear-masks-19605200 They will be offering masks, those with reasons not to wear one should be able to prove it, simple really. This idea you can't ask is just pandering to the muppets, the idea people forget them is also rubbish, who doesn't have a couple of masks in the car, one in each jacket, it used to be you found a fiver, now it's a mask ๐Ÿ˜ท
  10. It's not just that, where my SIL works had an outbreak a while back, they put it down to the brew room, people touching things, kettle, fridge, toaster etc they now diligently wipe things every time, apparently using wipes to lift the kettle for example. Often the people paid to clean are on the lowest wage, how good a job are they going to do? When I arrive at work I wipe down 'my' table in the brew room, I do this every night, then keep my hands clean and mind my distance, not everyone else does, but since xmas folk are being more aware, the new variant has got people thinking. Morrisons are bringing in a no mask no entry policy. 11. Wasn't this because they didn't want people panic buying the masks like toilet rolls when they wanted them for the NHS, my SIL is in daily contact with covid patients, would anyone want to do this without a mask? You could argue that the government is still trying to tip toe around everyone, its January its wet and cold, tell everyone to stay home for the next two/three weeks, everyone!, just allowed out for food shopping and having the vaccine, that should stop the spread. There will be people who have to work, farmers, emergency services, NHS, power plant, and more I'm sure others will come up with, but while people are still mixing and bending the rules to snapping point then this virus won't go away.

    Strange scam

I had a strange scam tried on me Sunday, my mrs set up a standing order from one of my accounts, I had a text msg saying the usual you have set up... if this is not you....... Twice that day I had the following. I don't have a HSBC account, I didn't screenshot the first msg, I just blocked it and deleted it. Seemed very strange this coming through after having set up a standing order. I'm sure some would have clicked on the link.
  13. I'm not a hundred % but I think they'll be Tawny owls. Someone posted on Agf about putting out rats for owls, I'd expect the local cats to take any mice I left out, but I'll start putting them out instead of the bin, I never thought owls would take dead mice or rats, never thought of them as carrion eaters just hunters.
  14. I think that one is down to ( bud linglish, ) it can be used for cooking and heating, she doesn't know the model number and was working when it was taken out. And I love the bit about it being in the barn and her being in the warm, but you would have expected her to say I'll check tomorrow ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  15. I've said this before, if you are going to the shops then wear a mask, there can't be many reasons why someone can't wear a mask for twenty minutes nipping in the shop, it's a very small thing to be able to protect others. Or use click and collect, home delivery, or have someone else shop for you.
  16. Where I shop its mostly pretty good, but there has to be a reason why cases aren't dropping in some areas, near me for instance Blackburn, its rates have constantly been high. But you can normally spot someone not wearing a mask in most places.
  17. I actually put the telly on this morning and this was being discussed, two individuals fined for DRIVING to meet up and taking a walk, never mind Cummings, he should have known better, they showed Tottenham arriving to play Marine last night, the streets were packed with people cheek to jowl, police present yet not a fine handed out, now that's ridiculous. But I think your right, people will only be pushed so far, too people keeping their distance having a chat, what's wrong with that? It was pointed out that if they had cycled there then nothing would have been said?? The shops can't enforce this, same as masks it's all voluntary, unless every shop puts security on the doors it won't change.
  18. It's great news that he can get out and about, I'm sure that's a massive boost.
  19. I've seen a few where stuff gets returned, normally by a jcb, just a shame they didn't get it all back over the wall why they were out, that would have shocked them.
  20. He might have been the first officially recorded covid death, that made it to a hospital but I doubt he was the first. And I doubt a lot would have 9k to pay for medical costs Is all health care private in that part of Africa?
  21. I'm just grateful that the mrs is well clued up with it all, the couple of days I've had to do have been interesting.
  22. No we don't have parties when there is a national lockdown, the lockdown is there to protect everyone. Apparently mates of a lad in work did the same thing, had a new years eve party, surprisingly he didn't go but now the group either have Covid or are isolating, everyone who went to that party then went home, mixed with others, went shopping maybe into work before showing symptoms, so if there were 15 people at that party how many others have they mixed with? I really don't understand how people don't get this.
  23. How did the apparent new strain spread around the country, people went home for xmas. Students, contractors, people working away, families meeting for xmas day before heading home again. Then many go back to work spreading the virus more, so it's no wonder really they locked us down again. I wonder how many people work away in London and travelled home?
