That’s my concern, 40 quid in and minus a nose isn’t going to cheer me up... Guys, is it worth going to an old fashioned barbers and buying from them? There a couple near work in London, or is it not worth getting their advice..

A number of us have, if you aren’t in the longstanding groovy gang then you are ignored, it’s purely a mechanism to fund their club land etc, waste of time and it’s an Essex club...

Access to 100 farms? Jesus! Maybe it’s too much land to really keep an eye on? I regularly shoot over 3 farms totalling less than 3,000 acres and struggle to keep up with that at times... Msybe narrow the search

I’d look at the BASC scheme, I joined a wildfowling club, couldn’t have been more cliquey and unwelcoming and was set up purely to extract cash from people so as the in crowd could shoot for free..

If only there were a proven, widely available, more effective shot material available that ideally had been proven over hundreds of years and was able to be loaded with fibre wads and for all calibres....oh, hang on a moment...

Clearly there is something wrong with me... rabbits at 100M (head shot as using HMR) so 25mm target and I use 16x

Interesting stuff guys, thanks.. What size do you cut the patches and what cleaning solution do you use? Also does the Tipton rod come with attachments? Its flipping expensive for a fibreglass stick!

½ extended Briley works fine for me for most stuff, I revert to factory full for high flighting
