  1. Lyavale express dan arms 28grams 7.5s hard hitting cartridge terrible on the shoulder and spat confetti everywhere and made a right mess in the chambers I imagine it would nail pigeons well tho. The first 1000 cartridges I ever bought tho the same day my cert came through you buy , you shoot , you learn
  2. Try cold springs shooting ground Pete is a brillant guy they do Saturday practise then Sunday comp nice clean ground good cafe & lots of pubs local 👍

  5. Lovely hope to see you in the summer as I help out up there filling traps etc 👍great bunch at the boar I'm sure you will enjoy it
  6. Try the boar clay ground just off the woodhead pass you can hire a gun & go around yourself or with a friend there is every discipline available some nice easy clays to get your eye in with & some more challenging ones on the flush & simulated game
  7. We've at least six months of listening to eubank jr mention every good middleweight & super middleweight names under the sun now & then fighting the easiest one or a defence of that naff ibo title he carries around everywhere with him. Next best move for him is to target Anthony dirrell for the wbc world title
  8. Not watching it myself as refuse to pay for it . If the right James degale turns up on the night he should outbox eubank easily but James degale does switch off & goes missing in the mid rounds. Eubank could win it with a busy work rate and staying right on top of degale and keeping the pressure on . James degale does not like a brawl. If degale is to lose this I can only see retirement for him not really anymore fights out there for him really. If Eubanks loses it just cements the fact that he is a British or European level fighter at best.
  9. Wait for the next game season and find a local shoot to beat on /help out you might get some roost shooting from it and possible pigeon shooting from a fellow gun or beater with some permission you've just got to put yourself out there
  10. Last I heard off a butcher near me was £5 a pheasant fully prepared for the table , plucked, gutted , cleaned & cling wrapped ready for the oven

  14. We had a skirmish day on the 1st of Feb for the end of the season we all agreed not to shoot the woodcock one drive produced 16 woodcock it was brillant to see them in such good numbers they hadn't really made a appearance on are shoot till early December time.
  15. I've not had harkila myself but I know they own seeland as well . I've had nothing but problems with seelands kraft force trousers not even six months old and I've gone through two pairs having them sent back again as the stitching has failed in the exact same place as the first pair. Defiently do a review on harkila before you go to the expense!
  16. Not been out yet but will update next Saturday at lymm area . Not seen many about when beating the other week
  17. Lyavale express pigeon power were the cheapest cartridges around near me when I priced them a few weeks ago perhaps it may be worth ringing your local gunsmith for a price they are a very good cartridge I used them last summer they are 29gram 6s fibre or plastic
  18. Yes that is the only problem with just cartridges the postage often kills any savings but perhaps if the OP it close to them he could collect in person saving the £15 postage
  19. Just cartridges are doing there own game loads sure there 32gram 6s fibre for £59.75 for 250 you've the £15 postage to add on top tho
  20. Penn surfblaster reels are excellent comes with two spools one for mono and one for braided line . Penn rampage surf is a good rod to match it with as well
  21. Premier guns ashbourne plenty of left handed shotguns in stock might be able to get a good deal with the shooting show on at Birmingham there doing free gun fits to the first 100 people on there stands
  22. I've a picture of it on my phone but it won't let me upload it as the file is to big . It's has game scene engraving on the side plates . But it hasn't got the black and gold colouring on the side like the jubilee models that Google & gun trader show . I was told it was up for £750 but I didn't contact the seller to double check. if you like I could email the picture to you? Have managed to find a link to one on gun star that has sold https://www.gunstar.co.uk/lincoln-prestige-20-bore-gauge-over-and-under/Shotguns/903298
  23. There's a lincoln prestige for sale in my local club when I Google it tho it's only comes up with the lincoln prestige jubilee models as if the standard prestige had never been made
  24. With a £800 budget I would try pick up a lanber, lincoln or even a nice winchester 101 for around 400-500 mark and spend the rest of the budget on lessons , clays & cartridges
