ME
New Years Eve is my youngest boys 6th birthday so people will be coming and going all day. Normally we stay in New Years Eve and have a quiet one. I was asked this year by some mates if I wanted to help on the door of my regular in the High Street, remembering back to what I used to be like as a teenager I declined that kind offer HOWEVER, this year some friends from round the corner have invited us round for a barbeque and B52's. I love barbeque and my mate is a great cook so I cant wait. Anyone else doing something a bit different ? Stihl
I am going round my wifes parents for a meal and then home to see in the new year. It will have to be a quiet one this year, so only 20 pints of guiness then. Stihl

steve_b_wales
New Years Eve for me will be the same as for the past 6 years. Some of my family will be coming to my house for a small party, and at 12 midnight, I start a big fireworks display in the garden. This is in memory of my late son David who I lost 6 years ago at the age of 14. I used to let him light the rockets etc, which he really enjoyed doing. So far, I have managed to keep the firework show going, and hopefully, will do the same next year. I think I've got about £300 worth this year. Of course, I think fireworks are a waste of money, and I hate letting them off!

Markio
Thought i'd make a change this year and watch my missus fall asleep on the sofa while i watch Jools Holland and his ever decreasing circle of friends and Adrian Edmondson. Actually, her sister is coming over this year too.
