gixer1
Does anyone use these rounds? my local gun shop has them and they are less than half the price of the next cheapest round! I bought a few boxes and was testing a few different brands from these PPU 90gr (£11.80/box), federal 75gr (£31/box), federal 80gr (£28/box) federal 100gr (£32/box) to Lapua 100gr (£44/box!) To be honest there was no major difference in the groups so I'll be buying a stock of these PPU's! you can see they are a bit dirtier but hey-ho.... Anyone else have an opinion on them? bigstevouk
not a bad round by all means... in .308 i was getting 1" groups at 200 last week....
Dekers
I use the PRVI 90g SP almost exclusivey these days in my .243...the 100g SP is ok too, but the 90g suits my purpose better. I count myself fortunate as these rounds do not suit every barrel, but I also get some for a guy at my club who uses and old SAKO (very Old), and he swears by them, says they are brilliant! Such is life, no complaints from me...and as it happens, the PRVI .223 and .308 also work in my other rifles...I am content!!!
steve_b_wales
Nothing wrong with the PRVI ammo. I use it in my .243 & .22-250. It's accurate, cheap, and the brass is good quality too, if you reload like I do.

Lez325
Just bought some to use in my 222 and at £8 a box of 20 can't be bad Les
scout
I've found it fine in 243 just very difficult to get hold of in Devon and Cornwall.
sharpshot
pretty good in my .223 no complaints here.

Gixer That's all I use in my .223 - £7.90 a box and they were dropping inside a half inch bull when I zero'd at 100 yards - Chroned em and they are putting out 3400fps with a 55gn soft point - accurate & hard hitting - can't fault em
camokid
i use them in 223 found they are a better round for my gun (howa) good groupings
bignoel
i wanted to try these out but the rfd has made it impossible to get a delivery that would keep them cheap
Vince Green
Privi is good ammunition no doubt about it. People have been reluctant to try it because its so cheap they feel it can't be as good. The American made ammunition is ridiculously overpriced and is actually starting to disappear off dealers shelves because of the ( artficially created) price hikes so more and more people are switching to PP and finding it good. Its all I buy now. Lapua at £44 a box is just crazy, there is no justification for those prices
Vince Green
i wanted to try these out but the rfd has made it impossible to get a delivery that would keep them cheap Who is your RFD? That dealer in Bracknell is close to you and he sells lots of PP. A lot of dealers don't like PP because presumably they can't make as much profit on the sale. jam1e
Do Prvi Partizan do a .204 round? And if they do, what would you folks recommend for vermin like rabbits and also fox? My RFD told me they were cheap, nasty and inaccurate. I put it down to him making more money by making me buy a more expensive round. remy 700
Fister replied he really knows his stuff and he has used it in multi calibres , I am going to try it , on his advice , cheers
jam1e
Its so cheap it is silly not to try it out but that isnt to say its guaranteed to work. I shoot so much ammo these days from all makers, often in several rifles if the same calibre i get a good idea of what on average has a good likelyhood of performing. My OWN guns all use handloads longterm but i have used some factory ammo i have really liked which quite frankly has shown superb results. Shooting Sports next month has Hornady Superformance 243 ammo in. Cheers Fister
deputy dog
My Xbolt hates PRVI in .243, shocking grouping when i used them all over the place. I now use Norma 75gr Vmax and their spot on with grouping but a little pricey at £25 for a box of 20. So i don't go shooting them at will if you know what i mean. jam1e
Just spoke to "Tony" from Sandwell Shooting Supplies in the West Midlands and he said Prvi Partizan consistancy is terrible. To the point they've now stopped stocking them! He said you could get "one box which were bang on, yet another box of the same batch would be terrible"!! Mr_Logic
Prvi has its uses no doubt. Do wonder why everyone says it's decent brass though - it's ****! I have used it extensively because apart from the target guns I'll do things as cheaply as possible. It does work but to get there the prep is more arduous than other brands - I choose to take the hit on my time but I'm under no illusion as to the quality of the stuff...
