stokie
We were having a mooch around one of our permissions yesterday and enter a small wood we have not been in before . Its a strip of newish trees about 40 feet wide running between two fields. At the far end of the wood we noticed approx 20 holes about 8 inches diameter and about 8 inches deep with a big curly **** in them .The piles were about the size of a dog doo .It wasnt covered over just sitting in the bottom of the hole . It certainly wasnt human . Now over to you what the hell did it . Ive googled it and asked jeeves and all it come up with is wildcat . Before anyone asks no I didnt take photos
Dave-G
If they were much shallower I'd say brock but I'll have to sit this out and learn something. One of my occasional shoots has several shallow ones - now't in them though so I'm looking for tips. Edited April 6, 2010 by Dave-G

stokie
We have seen badgers in the area . But it looks to large for an animal of that size unless they really are full of the stuff . I thought badgers was usually black smelly goo. Although I suppose diet can vary

Frenchieboy
Hard to say without a photo or smelling it but as a fairly educated guess I would say Badger, unless you have got a ***** Camp close by!
