jonno 357
Not a start we wanted but a draw will suffice I think we will see a few changes to the squad for next Friday Green- Obvious he won't be in the squad. Joe hart in Milner out- He got skinnned should have been sent off Barry will be the muscle in midfield and Gerrard of Cole could play behind Rooney Fat Frank can stay in the hotel and eat buns with Christine And as for Shaun( I stay play kids push and run football) wright Philips- He has no ******* idea what he is doing. He has got to be the worst England footballer there as ever been. Even ****ter than Jeff Thomas Rooney up front and someone in the hole

Albertan_J
Capello's tactics are terrible he started Milner and King who both had to make way because they aren't match fit, then he compounded that by bringing Wright Phillips on instead of Joe Cole
unclemicky
Personally, I don't think we pay them enough. I'm with you mate , 22 millionaire's running round the pitch do they really give a toss .....

Always makes me laugh when i read this sort of stuff. Look at the Times Rich List for UK sportsmen last year and you'll find 2 footballers, 1 boxer and 8 from motor racing!! Sure, footballers earn loads of money but i doubt that affects their performances for club OR country. Lewis Hamilton has earnt most this year but i didn't see him unduly affected when he put in his performance at yesterdays qualifying sessions. Tiger Woods is by far the highest earning sportsman in the world but i don't think anyone can criticise his commitment when he takes to the course. Mungler
There is some talent in the England squad - notably Rooney. Ok his a pug ugly Northener but he is the only one who can stick them in the back of the net. He will lose his rag when he doesn't get the ball or gets crowded out of the game; mind you, you can see it on his face at the end of each match - the look that he has been let down by the rest of the team who are just not playing to the same level as him. The rest of the team are either too old or too unfit. Lennon and King are quality when fit, and Crouch isn't too bad for set pieces as a gangly giraffe that's a clean 1' taller then anyone else on the pitch. Heskey bless him couldn't score in a brothel. Lampard and Terry; nothing special from their performance at all. Ashley Cole's not that bad but his head has gone. Puffing, wheezy and sweating Carragher out and Dawson in. Calamity James on as a steady (oh yeah, never thought I would be typing that) experienced hand in goal. EDIT: I will construct a new Super Yankee - starting with England convincingly winning their next 2 games. Bazooka Joe
First game for England & it was a disappointment for me, I won't be the only one, nothing fantastic, average in fact.....they may look good in the Premiership, but up against the rest of the world that's were it shows. And the USA, not the best team in the world, but we did nothing with them...we aren't going far with that performance,

Willxx
I think the mentality of the whole team has to change completely - no more "no easy games" excuses get out there and play to win by 3 or 4 goals and scare the **** out of the next opposition, get someone with some strength of mind and body to dominate the middle of the pitch - we resorted to long balls at times last night and the USA bossed midfield for long periods. I think the USA showed that we should be looking outside the top 4 teams for our players - if Fulham, Bolton and Hull squad players can negate our "best" then they are not good enough - as someone else said "too many millionaires" not enough desire. We were joking during the first half that Gerrard was in the shop window and was only trying hard for Jose - phone call must have come at half time
Boromir
Rob Green big mistake and hopefully the last mistake I would like to see him come back. I wish everybody stops expecting Rooney to score putting pressure on him wont help him score. I think Heskey did ok he did set up the goal we scored, but would of liked Defoe in his place instead. And Crouch *** is he doing in the squad? theres more ways to score goals than from corners and freekicks.
Ferret Master
Football apart, its a pity that Sky aren't doing the World Cup, I miss their profesionalism in coverage. ITV have got that depressing Childs bloke fronting it, manage to lose the HD picture and put on a commercial, just as England score their goal and loads of unnecessary action replays while the game is still going on. BBC have Adebayor as a "studio pundit", I can only understand about 15-20% of what he is saying. At least I can understand about 80% of what Andy Gray says. I wholeheartedly agree with the standard of camera work. Having the TV go blank to then be replaced by an advert during the opening minutes of the game was bad enough, to miss the only England goal that I was meant to be watching in 'fantastic quality high definition' really took the mickey. I wish there was the option to just watch the game without listening to some commentator who is often talking out of their harris or watching countless replays when the ball is in play. The BBC's coverage of the 6 Nations is at times equally shocking. FM

poontang
And the USA, not the best team in the world, but we did nothing with them...we aren't going far with that performance, Nope, not the best team in the world, but certainly not a bad team. Out of the 203 countries listed in the FIFA rankings England are 8th and the US are 14th. A difference of 6 places. Top ranked team are Spain. Six places below them are...............Germany!! I doubt there'd be too many complaints from the Spanish if they drew 1-1 with the Germans?

Ireland's Finest!
I'm just delighted England diddn't win yesterday. As usual there over hyped and as usual they dont deliver, If you want to be winning the world cup you should be easily beating the Usa. England are just overhyped by dileusional fans, A team of individual players that will never play well together. Ye Ireland diddnt make it but who care's Watching England struggle is some much better
