I'll stick with my spyderco. The best knife sharpener Iv'e ever had. Even my potato peeler is a pleasure to use.

It came highly recommended from a mate who does a lot of butchery. He has tried them all & the spyderco is the one that stays on his bench.

Is this what you've got? I'm a fan of Spyderco knives having owned a few.. they tend to disapear easily which annoys me! Need a new one at the mo.

i got one of these and now i have the best edge ever on all the blades from my filleting blade to the bread knife

got to be one of the most abbrasive sharpening items ive ever seen :sly::hmm: . blades wont last long with that the way it removes metal.

ill stick to my whetstone. :good:

Yeah thats the one. I got it from mindyourfingers as well. You get a dvd with it on how to use, but they dont tell you all you need to know. Prime example is: I would end up with a blunt tip on my knifes after sharpening.

 

This is how to stop that happening
