A few more

I went to a harrowed barley field this afternoon for a few hours as I have seen a good number of pigeons on it.

Set the hide up and chucked out 10 shells, straight onto the ground, no sticks.

These birds have clearly not been shot at this year as they were absolutely suicidal  it was as if they were on a conveyor belt, they piled into the decoys left right and center

It got to the point, where I started to get bored shooting at the decoying birds, I was just pointing the gun at them, bang, dead, bang, dead, bang, dead!

After a little while I decided to stay stood up, to try and make the birds flare off so that I had something a bit more sporting/ challenging to shoot at.

Needless to say I need some practice with the new gun as I only managed 93 for 200 cartridges :D but theses birds were even decoying into the dead birds after I laid them out for the pic :P

Its a shame I didn't get out earlier and take a good supply of cartridges with me, think I would have had a monster of a bag at the end :look:
