I don't know what I'm getting, but what I do know is that removing my egr and over pressurising the tyres did wonders for the fuel economy!

 

Knocked 15 quid off a 100 mile journey :hmm:

 

 

blimey it only costs me about £17 in mine to do 100 miles, do you reckon inflating the tyres and removing egr will bring my cost down to £2 :hmm:

Not to alarm you or anything.

 

Seriously though, get the egr out of yours if you haven't. It's the stupidest thing ever and decreases the life of your engine.

my first x-trail 112bhp di would do around 35 about the doors and 45ish on a run taking it easy

 

my second one 136bhp dci did just under 30 round the doors and just under 40 on a run......

 

i no longer have an x-trail......couldnt afford to run it... :look:

try towing a horsebox (112bhp). 20 ish mpg on the motorway :rolleyes:
