apache
We have a DeLonghi espresso machine that makes decent coffee, but takes too much hassle it never gets used. Bought a Docle Gusto machine that took pods. Not terribly impressed with the coffee TBH - but you could make it strong if you ignored the instructions. Great selection of milky coffee/hot chocolate and I can see good for a family that drinks a number of different drinks. Broke 13 months old, just out of guarantee. Pump went, could source a replacement but nearly as much as a new machine. We drink strong black coffee or espresso. So we went into a shop that sold a range of coffee machines and we tried some espresso from the Nespresso machine and were very impressed. There is a huge range of coffee available to all tastes. You can get one with a milk frother but we didn't. Had it about 4 months and very pleased with it. Register it online and get a 3 year warranty, with a free loan machine too. A lot of the top coffee machine manufacturers are making top end machines which takes Pods, so there is a good selection out there if you look around. I'm almost certain Lavazza make pods for all their ranges in coffee blends. No reason why you shouldn't get a decent brew in a pod machine. Sussexboy
My name is Sussexboy and I am a coffeeholic. Actually I only drink one a day, but make sure it's a good one. I have a La Pavoni Europiccola espresso machine and feed it with a lovely Italian blend freshly ground in an Iberital MC2 conical burr grinder. I know, I'm a coffee geek. I like it as a machiato with just a little milky froth on top - lovely

Cosd
Excellent, so I'm not the only coffee nut round here then! I have a built in Neff, bean to cup machine, which I'm really pleased with. I've tried a few different beans and really like the Gold Selection by Lavvazza; Of course there is always a full flask when out in the hide to keep me warm! snozzer
Speak to the guys at Garraways Garraways and ask them to send you out a mixed box from their filter sachet range. I can recommend their St James range and at £25 for 50 (3pt pots) complete with filters very good value when you put a pot on every day. I've not heard of this coffee but having just read up on it I want to try it now. Any recomendations where to buy it from? It seems to cost about the same as gold per gram!
